Yep. Landscape stuff is not cheap especially when you need someone’s creative mind for these kind of projects.

It’s a special sealer they pour out from 5 gallon buckets and trowel on. It’s sold by the same company that sells the materials for the flooring. I tried to get the specs on it but their buckets didn’t have any information on them since they order them by the pallets.

Hmm ok. I have rubber stall mats in my basement workout room and they still smell. Was thinking maybe a sealer would help.

The only thing is this rubber floor is made of small granular rubber. So when they apply the sealer it seeps into the spaces in the rubber. I don’t know if you could use the same product on a solid rubber floor. I’ll ask my installer for you though.

Finished up a kitchen for a client. She had some pretty odd choices for layout and cabinet design. Had a tremendous screwup thinking her oven was gas-only to find out (after backsplash) it was gas and 220v. First time I ran into an oven that had both, and the last damn time. Needs paint-she’s doing that herself.

Yep. She wanted more room for her stand up mixer, but wanted crown, that’s exactly what she wanted. These cabinets are a prefab type that you build on site. She ordered them an we installed them. We don’t use or like this company.

Fixed my footings. Went down 7 inches below the frost line with 10 inch diameter concrete. Also added one in the middle underneath just for piece of mind. 20200729_163956.jpg 20200729_164002.jpg 20200729_164041.jpg

@CodyP its 12x12. 5 seems to be plenty for mine. Id check your local code though. I didn't have to technically use as many as I did however I wanted to be safe since we get alot of snow here. Also I live in a rural unincorporated town with next to no rules on this stuff

cool thanks. We get a bit of snow but most of this deck will be covered with eaves as well as supported on 3 sides so I was thinking I wouldn't need as many footings.

@CodyP I used some plans on decks.com they're free, then I modified to my tastes. Might check that out. They have schematics and everything

    At my moms house;
Put a new fill valve, flush/flapper stack kit, new tank bolt kit, and changed out the angle stop to a 1/4 turn, the old one would leak every time I used it to check the flush valve. Borrowed a ferrel puller from the turd herders at work.
And I set the rain bird time clock for her lawn.

Had the moss removed from the roof. Gutters cleaned out and were washed up too. NOW my homeowners insurance won’t drop my policy in a few months.

Liberty dropped me a couple years ago because I had mildew on my siding and the shed door wasn't painted. I was unhappy to say the least.

WTF, do they do inspections or some shit? Other than maybe when I bought it 20 years ago, the only contact I have with my insurance is renewals in the mail. Nobody comes to look at the house.

Had to switch insurance companies since the pricing was too high. New company (Allstate) came and took pictures for an inspection.
Said I had till Nov to get the moss gone

Same, switched but it took 3 months for them to inspect it. Did everything they had an issue with, but was still dropped. Then had to scramble to find a new insurer in 30 days.

So after watching a couple quick YouTube videos, I decided to do a quick mock up to test out whether I want to make a "striping kit" for the mower. I considered doing a push broom head, but the way my deck is shaped, I figured I'd try the door mat technique. Again, just a quick mock up, and if it works well, I'll go buy a thicker door mat and set it up where I can run a bolt through the back "hitch" area and take it on and off easily. This is easy too, but I literally did this in 5-10 minutes with stuff lying around my garage. I only had to cut the pipe to length and drill a hole in it to keep it from sliding out/off. The pipe is for weight to push the grass down. It rained today, so I'll prob knock it out tomorrow or next day if it doesnt rain again then.

I'll admit I didn't realize that's how the stripes are made, I just thought it was the way big mowers cut .

I keep looking at a striping kit for my push mower but I don’t wanna spend $100 for it. I may try your idea somehow though
