Hey guys! Im beginning to plan a lift/level on my 2019 Tundra Limited Crew. Im thinking of running Bilstein 6112 in the front and 5160s in the rear with a 1.5 block. Ive read every where to get into 35's you need to do a body mount chop so in order to stay away from that what is your opinion on the largest tire I could go with using the OEM 20" Limited wheels?

285/65 r20 will get you slightly taller than a true 35, and about an inch narrower.
With stock offset wheels you'll have no issues with the tire contacting the body mount.

Not to be a huge contrarian, but one thing to consider...

Are you planning to change your gearing? If you throw 35s on there, be prepared to change your gears or lose a noticeable amount of grunt and compromise overall drivability when the tranny starts doing all sorts of weird shit because of the load sensing adaptive ECU. I'm not saying you'll damage anything. But if you care about how a vehicle responds to throttle input, my Tundra was a hot mess on 35s, and I didn't feel like messing with gearing.

I've got some 35's (actually 34.5s) on Method 702s that I'm trying to sell, just because I personally think without changing gearing this thing (2015 TRD Pro), it's flat out unpleasant to drive.

On edit: I can't find it now, but there's a detailed post (or several) from Keith at Dirty Deeds about this. He's right, and he can explain it in more detail than I can.

Thanks for this! With that in mind what tire size would you recommend with that lift? I wasn't set on 35's as i know there are issues from what Ive read. Perhaps 33's?

33s look nice and are a good compromise

Tire weight will also make it feel slow.

using the oem 20 inch wheels. Consider 275/65/20. Its a really tall tire, stock width.

I'm no expert on Tundra tire sizes. But I've dome my research and I'm going with 295/70/17s as a happy medium between between what was on the truck when I bought it, and the stock Pro tire size. The tires on the truck when I bought it were 34.5" dia. If I have my info right, stock Pro tires (275/65/18) were 32.2 dia. So I'm going to try the 295s which are 33.3 dia. I want larger tires than stock, so I'm hoping that gives me a drivable compromise.

It s odd that my 07 dc runs good with 35 s. With the stock tires the truck launched like a rocket. I had to be very gentle with the throttle or else it felt like something was going to come apart. Now it s a lot more drivable.
