So I've had a new-to-me 2015 Tundra TRD Pro Crewmax for about a week now, and have a few questions that the owners manual isn't helping with.

First, I swear I've seen pics of the rear seats with the back folded down (not the bottom folded up). Do our back seats fold down, or am I imagining that?

My driver's window button says "Auto" on it, but the auto function doesn't work. Any ideas on why that would be?

I've read the manual, watched videos etc. but I can't get Homelink to connect to a new Liftmaster garage door opener. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

    Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)!

I haven't tried folding the back down - just haven't had a need for it. The Auto window buttons work like this: If you push down a little, it will only go down until you release. If you push the button down all the way and release, the window will go all the way down. And just do the reverse (pull the button up) for the Auto up feature.

My only reply regarding the Homelink is to make sure you verify the instructions for the specific garage door model you have. I have had three different kinds over the years and had different instructions for each of them.

I think the last body style tundra seats fold down, and there is a mod for the double cab seats to fold down
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/rear-seat-fold-down-mod.8153/

    But I don’t think there’s a crewman option.

    window buttons covered -

and homelink - I agree, really depends on the garage door opener. I’ve down a few and sometimes it can be a PITA.

    welcome BTW!

Believe only double cabs rear seats can be modified to fold down.

Well, the only one I had info on was the seats, and that's been covered. Not an option on the Crewmax.

Thx. Re: the window button, the auto feature doesn't work even pushed all the way. Something's wrong somewhere.

I've tried the Homelink instructions from both the Tundra owners manual and the Liftmaster instructions. It paired easily with our 2017 4Runner using the Toyota suggested method. Guess I'll call Liftmaster tomorrow.

Regarding the Auto windows, make sure you push the button all the way down and release. If you hold it too long, it is likely programmed to bypass the Auto mode.

My homelink buttons are always a PIA to program to garage door openers if seems like. Just keep trying it took me about 4 attempts and it finally worked lol

On the Homelink buttons, if you you hold the the two outer buttons in for 5 seconds you will clear any old door settings back to factory specifications then retry the programming and it should work.

So Liftmaster support walked me through 2 different procedures and neither worked, so they transferred me to Homelink support. They walked me through a different process, which included the clear function mentioned above, and it's working now. Thanks again.

I believe the auto feature on the window can be activated/deactivated through the computer. Possibly the previous owner deactivated it.
