Reviving! Looking to mount an ARB twin compressor under my hood. 2016 tundra crew cab. I have switch pros planned and eventually a dual battery setup (not important now).

Something I can just plug a hose into, turn the ignition, and fill up me and maybe a buddy’s tires. Which arb compressor are y’all using? I see two different twin ones on SDHQs website

also what do I have to relocate when using this mount?

You don’t have to relocate anything.

You mean the 12v or the 24v? Get the 12 - that’s what our battery is.

    Hey Zach!
Yea nothing is needed to be relocated for the install of the ARB mount.
They make a single compressor and a twin compressor. Both work with the mount so up to you!
I will send you a private message for further info on purchase and shipping. Thanks!

Does it just have a plug somewhere on it for the hose?
The guys I borrowed this weekend had the plug mounted in his grille

You can run a fitting on the compressor or run line to somewhere on the vehicle if you prefer. A lot of videos on youtube where you can get some ideas.

The output from the Compressor is 1/4" NPT. I used a 1/4" NPT T with a male NPT to AN6 on one side and a 1/4" NPT Air outlet.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076HL56XZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

3/8" rubber Stainless Braided line with AN6 fitting on each end. One end of the hose goes to the compressor AN6 and the other to the rear bumper by the license.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075878RBC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The ARB outlet was bought from North Ridge 4x4. It has a male 4AN fitting you will need the adapter for the hose.
    https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/compressor-mounts-accessories/0740111-arb-air-hose-coupling

For the ARB output in the rear you will need a AN4 to AN6 adapter.

Huh, I couldn’t get mine to work with the SDHQ windshield washer reservoir relocation kit.
You have a pic? How did you get the bracket support leg to fit on the fender side?

I haven’t personally tested fitment with a TRD intake but I know I’ve sold 4-5 mounts to people with the TRD intake. I haven’t heard that it doesn’t fit so I’m assuming it did. Or they just haven’t got around to installing yet. Maybe someone can chime in or post a photo of the final install with TRD.

Thanks @Bannock452 for the prompt shipping. I installed mine the other day but wished I paid more attention to the fitment before rushing to install it with the compressor on it. The inside firewall bolt was a PITA to secure and the one of the fender bolts ended up being too short due to the way that the mount leg was bending.

I’m the end, my hands and arms are all cut and beat up but I’m happy for your solution. Thank you

Prob could use this as a mount for switch pros as well... rago makes a mount but it sits above the fuse box. Not practical IMO

It’s an ARB compressor mount, can be still used as the same thing.

Got my shelf installed! Painted black and sprayed red from the backside to get the "B" to stand out. :) Works with the TRD Intake.

Looks awesome. Quick couple questions for you:
Did you install the dual battery system yourself or have a shop do it?
If you did but yourself how hard was it to do?

    Thanks in advance

First I want one of these but I'm an unfortunate 2nd gen owner. I would be open to switch to a 3rd gen air box if it would fit and have no problems
Saw someone here who had used a 2nd gen air box with a 3rd gen.... anyone else?
Has anyone here used a 3rd gen air box on their 2nd gen? Based on others it looks like it fits OK, just curious if anyone had any performance issues or ecu problems with the different air box.
If I can use a 3rd gen airbox I'll pull the trigger on the compressor mount in a heartbeat
