I don't like you. I think you're a fake Tundra owner. The sound of your piss hitting the urinal, it sounds feminine. If you were in the wild, I would attack you, even if you weren't in my food chain. I would go out of my way to attack you. If I were a lion, and you were a tuna, I would swim out in the middle of the ocean and freaking eat you and then I'd bang your tuna girlfriend.

Okay, first off, a lion swimming in the ocean? Lions don't like water. lf you'd placed it near a river or some sort of fresh water source a tundra could make it through, that'd make sense. But you find yourself in the ocean,20-foot waves, l'm assuming it's off the coast of South Africa, coming up against a full-grown, 800-pound tuna with his 20 or 30 friends? You lose that battle. You lose that battle nine times out of ten. And guess what? You've wandered into our school of tuna, and we now have a taste of lion. We've talked to ourselves. We've communicated.

All right started my first run of cerakote trim.

first I have to say that it looks promising and after a good cleaning and erasing it is very easy to apply. Love that they give you gloves nice touch. I washed truck with reset then applied eraser from carpro on the steps and side rocker. Going to keep it in the garage tonight and see how it looks in the am. I did make sure the truck was very dry before application. I still use Klasse all in one. Might be old school but the stuff kicks ass! I still need to seal it. I have been using Griots cream for polish and clean with CG Mr Pink, and clay with CG clay. I like CG soaps.
Finished part of the truck last night. I still need to clean the wheels, and wax the roof. I was to tired last night when 10 pm rolled around.

I've been using as iron remover. I think this is the original and the stuff they don't sell at AutoZone anymore, and this new shit.1 says triple foam the other says wheel cleaner? Same picture diff wording. Sprayer looks same, I do remember it being a kinda shitty trigger. But for that price...

So I gotta question....I have a bunch of optimum tire coating (yes the coating, not the gel dressing) and have actually considered putting it to use on my bed liner. Kinda to get a lil pop and depth back in the black, but also to protect it and make it easier to hose off/clean. I have a bed cover, so it's not exposed too much. I don't really throw too much in the bed of the truck that would make it get scratched off or anything. Looking for honest opinions. Dumb? Not a bad idea? Also....application. Put in a spray bottle and mist and wipe? All purpose MF rag? Sponge applicator? If course it will be cleaned thoroughly first if I go this route. As a couple people know, I've run across a bunch recently for cheap/free and it keeps crossing my mind. Thanks in advance.

I've tried it on other things besides rubber and it didn't work. A test area won't hurt. Would be cool if it worked. I would spray it

Used dlux on the cowl too. Should have used some solutions finish first but it came out good. This is the ultimate test of a trim product.

Previous owner had a tonneau that left these marks. I used solutions finish to get it back to uniform black then dlux.

Found some at AutoZone but wasn't exactly this, same except labeled as wheel cleaner. Then I found this at a tj maxx type store in in town, totally randomly.

As Pudge said.....spray it on. If you have a compressor, pick up an inexpensive HVLP from Harbor Freight. I know guys who use that setup for applying tire dressing.

Hey Sean well we both applied ceramic trim within a few days of each other. Perfect time to see how the durability of these two products holds up. I will call it August 1st just to time stamp the application. I’m very curious on how dlux and cerakote are going to preform. Question does your truck live outside? I know we will be dealing with climate differences so I will keep that in mind. The fj lives outside.
