Jomax Customs - Group Buy! ABS Sensor Armor + Rear Diff Breather Relocation

The mechanic loved them. Said they fit great and he wants a set for his truck!!!. All went well except the fitting for the diff was the wrong size??!!

 

They also fixed the recall on the turn signal which was reposition one wire on each plug for a better ground.

 

Passed along the diff breather issue to Jomax.

Glad to hear no issues with the Armor. Looks good!

 

Hardest part was closing the clips on the front.

Stop posting pictures, PLEASE. I got mine and thought they would look really good in the natural color. Then seen a set painted TRD red and thought that would look good, to. Then saw a set color matched to the truck and thought, man that looks good to, then I thought that gloss black would stand out nice. I'm gonna have to paint each one a different color.

Hi im interested in the rear diff breather kit. Is it too late to get in on the discount?

 

The group buy ended/closed a couple weeks ago. Even without a discount the diff breather is cheap insurance.

 

So should I install the diff kit or does it not fit?

Try it an see. It's 1 fitting. Worse case, you put the stock breather back on.

 

For those that have issues regarding the breather kit,

There has been only -1- person thus far noting there to be an issue with their kit. A few other from other forums/groups have installed without issue so I am not able to say what happened. So far though it appears to be an isolated case.

You've been a kick ass middle man for all of this. Thank you. I'll likely try to get everything installed sometime this upcoming week. If I have any issues I'll let you know, but only as an FYI. I'll contact Jomax if there's a problem.

 

Don't get be wrong, I'd still love to know if everyone is happy and if there happen to be issues! As you mentioned via an FYI.

Unfortunately with regards to issues, as you mentioned, I'm just the middle man so I really can't help much past passing information along and it would just be much quicker going direct.

I hope this was an isolated issue re the breather that can be addressed ASAP and that everyone else's breather can be installed issue free!

 

By the sounds of it, maybe its better that I did not purchase this.

 

So don’t drop the 5mm bolt into your brake rotor like I just did.....no ideas how to get it out of there. If you have fat fingers.....put some tape over those holes.

 

That sucks man. Can you get to it if you take that tire off?

 

Why? One person had a minor hiccup that will likely be resolved quickly? Multiple others have installed with no troubles.

 

No....I thought I don’t need to back it out of the garage to do this! No room to get a jack in.

If you can sneak the stock scissor jack under the axle, use blocks if you have to, you might be able to lift it enough and compress the suspension at the same time. Just a desperate thought.

 

I purchased a couple magnets on those telescopic pen dealys and bend them as needed. If I break them then in the trash (3 dollars worth!), but it saves a bunch of disassembly work??

If it does not break then it goes in the tool box until the next time or when a friend needs one and he breaks it just like it happened the other day getting rusted metal out of a pipe!!

 

So far I’m the only one that has had a problem and that has posted. If I’m the only one then I’ll be the one so everyone else doesn’t have a problem (if you can even call it a problem??) as much as I don’t like it!!!. I wanted to be done!!! just because I have to go to the shop because I can’t do that stuff anymore so much,,. But I asked a buddy to do it for me when I get the right part and he said he would so all good.

 

That’s what I did! Had to spin the rotor about 1000 times And it finally fell out! Project complete!
