I finally found my truck

    After looking for the past 2+ months, I finally found my truck, 2006 DC Limited (this is a "uncommon" no-leather, no-wood Limited), 176,000 miles:







    The seller owns several auto repair businesses including a body shop. This was his personal truck for the past 2 years. Here is a partial list of his upgrades:
    Bilstein 5100 shocks/lift
    Lower control arms and ball joints
    Tinted windows
    StopTech drilled and slotted rotors + pads
    17" TRD Wheels
    P285/70-17 Toyo tires (too big in my opinion, will be down-sized in the future to a size closer to stock)
    Front and backs seats from a Sequoia (cloth)
    Manifold back exhaust system (including cats) and drive shaft with only 77k miles from a wrecked Tundra that came into the body shop.
    Wood interior trim - from the same wreck (not a fan of the wood, but it looks pretty good in this instance)

    My short term plans:
    New head unit - sitting in my garage
    Back-up camera - ditto
    Running boards - ditto
    Black Wheels - Plastidip cans sitting in my garage
    Replace missing front skid plate
    Shell or bed tent

    Awesome looking truck. I’ve always been a fan of those 4 runner wheels. They only had a 3 year run. Tires look great too, are they LT or P rated?

    GREAT looking truck, congrats! But IMO, DO NOT dip the wheels. Those are fairly popular and not-too-common wheels you have there (not factory on a Tundra, likely from a 4runner). And I am a big fan of black wheels - I have black TRD SEMA wheels on mine - but I think your truck / color / wheel combo looks perfect as she sits. Your truck, just my $.02...

    Clearly owned a body shop, the white trucks usually have chalky paint without some regular finessing or a skilled hand.

    I agree with the above. Don't dip the wheels. You actually don't need to really do anything to the truck.

    Welcome to the made-up Gen1 white truck club! Mine is a limited also, leather/power captain's seats, but had no wood until I chose to add it. I don't know if I've ever seen one with dark grey interior like mine plus wood. Dunno.

    EDIT: Man I miss my paint-matched white bumper. And I wish you lived closer so I could swap tires or tires and wheels with you!

    The nice thing about Plastidip is that it peels off fairly easily, so it's not a permanent change.

    I also think a dark bronze on the wheels and badges would look good (again, plastidip, not permanent). I saw a white Tacoma with wheels/badges done this color and it was pretty great looking:

    Thanks for answering. The p rated 285/70/17 or the 265/70/17 tires would work well for your truck. Most LT tires in your current size are usually 55-60lbs per tire and p rated is around 45-50lbs per tire.

    Of course the airbags in the seats are not hooked up. And I really need to run power to the front passenger seat so my wife can get it adjusted to her specs. Trying to get that done this weekend.

    Those look great...well done. Are the seats not plug and play? I thought the wiring would be there? The wiring for the seat heaters was in place because I used it when I installed leather and seat heaters.
