I’ve searched and read till my eyes cross. What does everyone recommend for a level/lift for my 2015 Tundra TRD? I’ve had it for a little over a year and it’s time to level up. I know opinions vary but I’m done looking.

for $1000 you have good options from Toytec and OME. You want lift coilovers and probably a shackle for rear for best ride. Stay away from spacers and blocks- do not ride well and do not play well offroad.

Definitely no spacers. I know many use them and that’s ok but if I’m taking her apart at 84k miles she’s getting new coilovers.

Have had great experience with Toytec lifts. I’m sure they have an option for your price. Spend a little more and get the boss. You won’t regret it. Or a little mor for the Aluma series.

Also want to add that I’m getting new tires but not sure on size yet. Keeping stock wheels for now.

6112’s all the way for the price. Everything else will be a step down.

Well tires alone will eat up $1000. You need a bit more for all of it.

Aluma 2.0 says aftermarket upper control arms recommended. That would beat the budget to death. How important is it to do them now if I went that route?

Uca’s are for alignment. If you lift 2 inch or more, they really help you get better numbers

You could skip them, but your alignment will be off and you will be buying tires sooner than you'd like. I personally have been eyeing the Falcon shocks after seeing a post on here about them, but I don't know that they will give you the lift you want.

    Still rolling stock baby....
I did the Old Man Emu with 612 coils and toytec adjustable shackles, very happy with the results. Are you doing the install yourself or paying a shop? That will eat up your budget fast, the parts alone are right at $1000 or so.

I leveled down by dropping the bed 3.25" so it sits level with the front.
SOS Performance has everything you need... I added the air bags, sway bar and shorter rear shocks. I am rolling on stock 18" wheels and tires, and my ground clearance is unchanged.

I went OME and installed myself in the driveway. Took about 6 hours start to finish with the helping a friend. I’d say maybe 8 hours had I done it solo.

I love the way my OME kit rides, I was in a Silverado as a rental all last week and being back in the tundra now, it’s night and day.

Quickly jumps to $2grand when adding uca and this and that. Also the word Tundra with anything you order adds a few hundred bucks more than said item should cost.

I honestly don’t have any experience with Tundra lifts. However if the Tundra Eibach shocks are anything like the 4Runner versions, I would buy them in a heartbeat OP... For the price point I will say they are better riding than the 5100’s. Eibach the nailed the valving.

Get the 6112's and set them at either 1.3 or 1.9. No UCA needed. Will be right around $1,000

Maybe I'm wrong. But before the 6112's came out you could have a discussion about what was best. OME, 5100's, Toytec's, ect. But after the 6112's came out the only reason to not get them is because you absolutely can't spend an extra $300-$400 dollars. 6112's are much larger than the others that are mentioned. The larger the piston, the more dampening you have the ability to get.

So if going 6112. Looking at shims on Toytec site for lean and it says not to use on adjustable coilovers?!

You dont need it on adjustable. You would just screw one side more than the other.

5100/6112 aren't adjustable per say, more height selectable. Coilover has a threaded collar for a range of lift

I just checked and I’m level side to side so maybe I won’t need any adjustment. I was just thinking I’d seen some people use them to correct lean and keep coilovers set the same?

Not every Tundra has the lean. Mine doesn’t, so I sold my shims rather than using them.
