Solo motorsports Lower balljoint Uni-ball conversion

So I’ve been wanting to do a mid travel kit to mainly get away from the factory lower ball joint design and I was shopping around and looked on solo’s website and saw that they offered a uniball conversion. also has anyone tried their MT complete kit?

 

You’re required to run their $1700+ spindles. $2500+ for uniball lowers, I’ll pass.

 

Assuming money isn’t an issue, just curious how someone liked them. Honestly it’s Probably more cost effective to just use their complete mt setup.

What year is your truck? Does it have ABS?

I considered going with their lift spindles long ago, and possibly the uniball lowers, but you can't retain ABS. Doesn't bother me for driving but if ever in an accident and your insurance sees you've disabled the ABS it won't go well.

I would consider cost/benefit analysis. How much gain is there from a lower uniball considering the cost of the other parts required?

is the flex out of the lower balljoint your current limiting factor when offroad?

It depends on your type of offroading, but I’ll bet there are many things that will help you more for less money. At some point the cv axle cannot flex down anymore, so what is the lower uniball gaining?
