I've only used it once a few weeks ago, will try it again her soon. The time I used it I didn't read the instructions and I applied like I do beadmaker, a few panels at a time and wipe off. Had some streaking that wasn't horrible to remove. I should be able to use it again this weekend and I'll do a panel at a time and see how it goes.
Been a busy summer and I haven't had much time to wash and maintain our vehicles as much as I would like.
I've been really happy with Shine Supply Spiked Punch after a wash. I also tried Adam's Slick & Slide, more expensive than beadmaker and not even close to the gloss and slickness in my opinion.

I'm an old school carnuba wax guy. I used to really geek out, did some PCA concours events etc. But I'm not really familiar with the current generation of "sealant" products outside of Jet Seal (isn't wax a sealant?) How does 3-in-1 compare to a high quality carnuba-based spray like Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax? I find Souveran to be super easy to use, really forgiving with little to no streaking, and holds up pretty well.

I definitely like Spiked Punch a lot. It gets expensive so I use it sparingly.

I absolutely agree with everything @War Machine has posted about this product. It is very good and I find it very easy to use I most cases I’ve even used it on wheels. I apply this product almost like glass cleaner spray on wipe flip rag wipe then take a second mf and do a final wipe/polish. I do one panel at a time breaking the hood down to three sections and roof to 4-6 depending on size. A lot of people have a wax state of mind where they apply let sit and then polish this is unnecessary and will cause issues with this and many others sealants like stated above. I highly recommend this product.

I always use sealants in my garage with door open and fans on.

I give the vehicle a wipe down with eraser from carpro before application.

I avoid the vehicle getting wet at all for at least 12 hrs

after application I pull the vehicle outside and inspect then let it sit in the sun for a hour then it’s pulled back inside to finish cure.

I love all things carpro but 3-1 outperforms reload.

Very well said. I was fortunate to have good conditions for application, and did not have any issues with streaking. The one thing I did notice was that it felt a little 'grabby' after it was first applied, but that went away. What you're left with is a very smooth finish....slick but not super slick. Next time I use this I might just go ahead and over apply it to see how hard the streaks are to remove. What War Machine said is true.....sealants are very finicky when it comes things like heat and humidity...at least the good ones are.

Sounds on point to me. A good overview of the product. I almost entirely attribute my streaking issues to the humidity when I tried using it (80's temps, 8PM, no sun, panels cool after two washes). In reality, almost any product is going to run into issues in super humid conditions. I can't attest to it's longevity as I just used it last night, but I've never had a bad experience with any Griot's products to be honest and expect it to perform accordingly.

Total noob when it comes to this stuff. Growing up my parents never did much to the cars besides basic wash in the driveway. Is this meant for a vehicle that is ceramic coated or is this kinda like a lower end ceramic coating that you apply? The vehicles definitely look good after you used this on them.

I call it a light coating. It works great as a sealer for a vehicle or as a maintenance top coat for a vehicle that has been coated. It acts like a real coating just not as long.

It’s main purpose is as a stand-alone sealant, but can be used as a topper for a vehicle that is ceramic coated.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
I've learned to spray the product onto a clean towel, Then wipe it onto the vehicle, not trying to 'stretch' the amount by re-applying product to towel frequently but never onto the vehicle directly.

This method avoids streaking and over applying product. Allow 30 mins dry time and start Gently wiping off in circular motions. Now its time for a Willy break!

That’s what I was thinking. That’s seems very risky. Sealers do not need to sit on paint to be affective.

Do the ceramic sealants like the Griots 3in1 or Turtle wax hybrid attract dust like a magnet as bad as the polymer sealants?

I had the same thoughts, unless he's referring to Griots 3 in 1 Liquid Wax....not the 3 in 1 Ceramic wax. .

I can not recommend leaving this product on paint for longer then a few seconds. Guess the question is: is it grey or is it green.

Not in my experience. I’m seeing the vehicles stay cleaner between washes than I’m used to.

I bought a bottle on @War Machine recommendation. I have now applied it twice on my Tundra and once on my wife’s Highlander. This is in Colorado, very low humidity, garaged and applied on cool paint.
This took the place of Car Guys hybrid sealant which I was happy with but wanted to explore a little.
I found it very easy to apply. My method is 2 quick spritzes on an area followed by wiping in and then turning cloth and buffing. I have had zero issues with running or drying to fast. In the first application on my Tundra I did notice that on my windows I could see some hazing. I attribute that to not buffing well enough or long enough. Since my Tundra is silver it really wasn’t noticeable on the paint.
I apply it on everything from headlights to wheels. It beads very well in rain however I have noticed that the paint isn’t nearly as slick as when using the Car guys. Is this just a normal attribute of ceramic?
Overall, I like it, find it very easy to apply (maybe 20 minutes for the Tundra) and will continue to use. I bought my brother a gift package with some as well and he was quite impressed.

On a side note, I also purchased the Griots interior detailer. The white liquid, and after wiping my wife’s car down inside, she complained that it made her car smell like someone farted in there. It’s weird because it smells fine in the bottle but I also noticed in my Tundra that it had a strange smell after application.

I find that these products are not as slick as non ceramic sealers but they do last a lot longer. As far as the griots white interior cleaner I have not found the smell to be an issue but now I typically use carpro inside I just prefer it. It seems to leave a nice finish and has more of a new car smell without trying to hard if that makes any sense.

No problem clean and shine from shine supply is on my list. I like these products for maintenance and upkeep. If doing a dirty vehicle I resort to a diluted AP then add a shine usually CarPro pearl. If you do go with shine supply order wise guy tire cleaner it is hands down the best.

I use griots best of show spray on wax and it keeps the truck looking like a diamond even after nasty rain and street grime and make washing the truck a lot easier. I also use the spray car wash and both are very good. IMO griots is under rated and the market is starting to get flood. It’s overwhelming even jay leno has products out now

Griots makes great products. I use many regularly.

the glass polish is great. Interior cleaner and leather cleaner are both decent. Speed shine is my go to for clay process. Boss correction cream and perfection cream and finally 3-1.
