    Im looking to use 18x9 / +25 Methods or Ray10's with a set of 35x12.5-18's on my 2020 SR5 Crewmax 4x4.
My wife is 5'3" and already complains about the stock height... so im trying to compromise.
I was hoping a 2" or 3" leveling kit would do the trick. (I used a 2" spacer lift to put 285/75's on my 18 Taco and loved it.)

I already removed all the mudflaps... and can do the bm chop myself if needed but obviously would prefer not to.

Ive been reading all over the site and see various combos that are working.

This truck is a pavement princess and will likely never go offroad but is my daily driver. Wife has a new 4runner to drive.

I'd say as a generalized statement you would need atleast 3" but would very likely need the BMC. I'd imagine you would have to be 4"+ to not need to cut.. For refference I have 3" up front on 18x9 with +20 offset. I have a slightly smaller /narrower 34.5 x11.5 ish tire (295/70). An I have basically a finger width between my tire an the body mount. There are some other factors like alignment an how agressive a tread that can play a small factor as well..

Ok... I just ordered chop plates from Relentless. I will do the BMC just for good measure. I may want 37's in the future.

Im thinking this kit, combined with 2" shackles... should give me a 3/3 lift.
I pull a trailer occasionally and need a bit of rake... so I dont want the truck level and dont like tall spacer blocks in the rear.
I figured a 1" block and 2" shackles would be a good combo...

Should do the trick although I think you would be fine with 3/2. I have 2" in the back an tow a travel trailer an it doesn't squat to bad granted I have a weight distribution hitch. Don't be surprised if folks try an streer you away from a spacer lift. .

Yeah I dealt with plenty of that with my Tacoma on the Tacoma forum.
2 years and 30k miles on a spacer lift and it was just fine. No issues whatsoever and rode like bone stock. Spent less than $100.

Agree, same here had spacers on my Tacoma, thing had 180k miles on it when I traded.. Used to enjoy getting the Tacoma forum guys all worked up about spacers.. I splurged this time around but in all honesty could have saved myself several grand an probably been just as happy..

3" Ready lift arrived yesterday... so I will work on that over the weekend.
Ordered a set of matte black Method 305's in 18x9/+25mm last night... along with a set of LT35x12.5/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers.
The Terra's are a bit spendy but I've had great luck with them on my wifes 4runner. She got 60k miles out of hers and they still looked pretty decent.
I tried a set of Coopers on my Tacoma and they were garbage by the time I had 27k on them.

Wish I knew of a decent 4x4 shop in the Cumming/Dawsonville GA area to do a good alignment and mount/balance tires.

Only moved here 5 years ago and haven't really established any contacts yet.

I ran 35x12.5x18s on a 2" lift with +25 wheel and no BMC. No rubbing but I did have an aftermarket bumper. I think this combo would have worked with a stock bumper and bumper shims. You should be OK with 3" and the BMC.

My wife is also 5'3" and at first I tried to keep everything easy for her to get in and out. Then I replaced the side steps with sliders and went to about 3.25" lift. Now every time she slides out of the truck to the ground I hear "Oof! I hate getting out of your truck".

I probably wont do the BMC if its not needed.
The BMC plates showed up today from Relentless... so at least I have them if needed.

Hats-off to Relentless for the lightning fast shipping ! :hattip:

Im doing exactly 3" up front... and have enough blocks/shackles to raise the rear in 1/2" increments from 1" to 4".

Front end is now complete and exactly 3" higher.
Kit is/was very nice and install very straightforward.

I will be throwing 1" blocks in the rear shortly.

Shackles will be here tomorrow so I can adjust up another 2" if needed, in 1/2" increments... for a total of 3".
I also have 2" blocks if I need to go 3.5" or 4" in the rear.

Currently it measures exactly 1" higher in the front with only the 3" front kit installed.
The 1" blocks will put it dead level.

Wheels will be here today... and looks like tires may arrive as soon as tomorrow.

This thing is gonna be badass.

Truck is dead-level. Fender lips are all exactly 40-1/4".

When shackles arrive, I will go up another inch or so in the rear.

Ultimately thats where the total lift amounts will likely end up. 3/2 or 3/3

Adjustable rear shackles are now on at lowest (+1) setting... for a total of 2" in the rear when combined with the 1" blocks.

So with 3" front and 2" rear lift, I have exactly 1" of forward rake. (stock was 2")

Looks good, Art. Can't wait to see a pic with the new wheels and tires. I may copy you, or at least get some new wheels. Not in love with the stock 18" TRD-ORP alloys.

    Thanks bud !
If you decide on a lift, just let me know. Id be happy to give you a hand with it at your place or mine. It wasnt difficult at all, just time consuming. Took me most of the day yesterday and I was taking my time. No special tools needed, just standard hand tools, HD floor jack and 2 tall jackstands.

I'm still waiting for upper control arms to arrive.
Once those are on I will take it back to get the castor corrected.
