ok guys I’ve scoured the forum and now am looking for feedback. I’ve decided my new size choice for tires will be 285/75r17. I will be using rockwarrior wheels.
I have a list of tires I’m considering and would love to hear your thoughts and any positive or negative reviews. The list is below:
    Nitto Ridge Grappler
    Cooper discoverer at3 Xlt
    Toyo Rt
    Bfg ko2
    Toyo At

I will be mainly driving highway, but do drive gravel and dirt roads for weekend hunting and fishing. I would prefer an aggressive look (like everyone else)
    Thanks

Pretty much in the order I'd have them. Ive had the Nitto, Cooper, and BFG. Nitto RG was the best if you need a good tire that works year round and looks aggressive, Cooper XLT is a better daily driver and a bit better in the wet stuff, but not nearly as aggressive. I didnt like the KO2s.

I have the Cooper AT3 XLT in 285/75R18 and love them. I have 10k on them and they are quiet and very stable in town and going 75 on the highway. I do not live in snow (SC) so I cant help there. I am selling these tires this week (August) to try out the new Toyo AT3 to compare the two. The Toyo is snowflaked and has the same warranty (50 or 60k) and both are much lighter than the Nittos or other brands. (Sorry, not 17s but what’s an inch?)
