Hey guys. I'm looking to put 35s ko2 on stock 18" trd rims.. also putting on a 3/2 leveling kit... Question is. How big of a spacer would I need to avoid BMC. Another option is just buying new rims.. if I went with a new 18"r what offset would I need to fit a 12.5 wide 35 ?.... Thanks.

Atleast 1.5", that's what I ran on my old 2007, if you go new rims +25mm offset is a good sweet spot

Just do the BMC. I don't see how spacers will but will more than likely exacerbate the issue.

Push your wheel out farther. You'll need to remove front mud flaps, possible body mount chop, depends, mine only rubbed at full lock

Bfgs run smaller than 35s. There was a guy years ago did it with no wheel spacers, no bmc if I remember

So basically I can dump the 35 on my stock 18s and no spacers and do the BMC?

Believe it or not, all the trucks are slightly different. I dunno if that'll work for you. I seem to remember that I ran 35s on stock wheels w/ 1.25" Spidertrax spacers and needed a BMC. I think the spacers were purely for stance and may have caused the need for the BMC. Or the spacers may have been required to clear the UCAs. Sorry, I can't remember.

35s on stock rims without spacers will almost def hit on the stock upper control arm as well

You put spacers to clear your uppers which caused you to get a BMC.

Haha. I don’t really remember if that’s what actually happened to you. I’m just guessing. A 35” tire that’s a legit 12.5” wide will hit the uppers. OP I’d suggest just going with 295/70/18. That will most likely fit without spacers and a CMC. Maybe. Lol

Also keep in mind that generally the stock TRD wheel will be a 18x8. A 35x12.50x18 will need at the bare minimum a 8.5” wide wheel for a safe fitment. At the tire shop that I run, we absolutely would not do that install for liability reasons
