Got some new to me rims today! Really like them and had a shop put them on after balancing them (trader with another Tundra owner.) I asked the shop to reset both our TPMS ... got about 40 min away and my TPMS light came on and all 4 tires show dashes instead of pressure. Anyone know how to reset it? I pushed the button by your shin but no love.

They are the wheels on the later model Pros, but the previous owner bought them from a dealer, used them for 15K, and now wants 20" wheels until he figures out what's next. He has a SR5 Sport all leveled with a really sweet exhaust. Nice truck and guy... got new rims and made a new friend!

I’m just curious because if those came off a 20 with push start/smart key then those sensors won’t work on your 19

They worked for months on his 2018 SR5 Sport, so I assumed they would work for me. I am going to try this: http://toyota.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7892/~/how-does-the-tire-pressure-monitoring-system-work-in-my-vehicle?#:~:text=To reset the system, first, blinks slowly 3 three times. If that doesn't work I will break out the Techstream laptop and see if I can fix it there ;) Was also kinda weird that it worked for about 40 min while I drove and then just started outta nowhere. He called me a bit ago and I asked if his was OK (2019 Limited 20" wheels on his 2018) and he said his is fine.

You have a guardian angel on your side bro. Same thing happened to me in my work commuting car on the PA Turnpike and did $5k in damage to the front end the first time. Second incident I was further back and able to swerve, but took small debris hit to the AC condenser and developed a slow leak. Watch your AC performance over next few days.

I didn't technically "do it" myself but I had @mattgecko install his LED lights in the bed and under hood. Super neat solution and a great guy to boot!

Your fortunate. I seen one peel off on the freeway the same way but it was a full width strip. It landed perfectly down the center of a small car from bumper to rear window and oh my heavens, it probably made a 12” depression right down the middle of the car. I don’t ever drive around semi trucks the same way.

Has anyone installed front LED turn signal bulbs 18-20 tundra? If so have you also swapped the wires in the sockets so that is utilized the higher wattage? Curious if that created hyper flash.

I installed LEDs but did not swap the wires.
Yes, the misunderstanding with some about the wires is that the voltage is the same on both. The current setup just send the power to the weaker filament in the bulb, hence the low output. When you/they swap the wires the power is sent to the stronger filament (higher wattage as you said) and create a stronger signal. So, when you use a LED bulb it makes no difference since the LED is not a dual filament bulb.

I did not have any hyper flash issues either.

I reached out to Weathertech to see if they had a product like this in work. Their response just made me laugh. I doubt I'll hear from them again and that nothing will come of it lol

"Thank you for contacting WeatherTech and thank you for your feedback. I will pass your suggestion along to our design team."
