Can anyone give me suggestions for what PSI to run my tires at when towing my 7000lb travel travel trailer ?

    Tires are Hercules Terra Trac A/T 2 , 10 Ply load E , 275 65 18 ( stock size )

I currently run them unloaded at 48 psi , Drives smooth , good tread wear

I know these tires are overkill for my 2019 CM but I prefer the added strength and stability for towing .

My load range E bfgs are at 55psi towing. Feels really good. Rides like a pogo stick when we unhook lol

In actuality, unless we know your trucks weights/tongue weight....we cannot give you a definite answer.

    Tire pressures depend on weights.

Truck probably weights 6500lbs give or take loaded , and tongue weight of trailer is 700lbs

    Your tires are 3415lbs @ 80 psi.

Below is the math, by no means concrete evidence. Best thing to do would be reach out to Hurcules directly for their recommendation.

    3415 x 4 = 13660lbs at 80psi for all 4

    6500lbs/13660lbs = .48
    6500lbs + 700lbs = 7200/13660lbs = .53

    By math,

    80psi x .48 = 38psi
    80psi x .53 = 42psi

I appreciate all that work man , I actually did contact hercules when I bought the tires last year and they would only tell me the minimum pressure to run unloaded , I guess for legal and liability reasons they could not tell me any other numbers strictly because my truck did not originally come with 10 plys . I was surprised and a little disappointed

Very well could be which is why I added a disclaimer to my math as well ;)

I do want to double back though and confirm...

You are 6500lbs with the tongue weight included, correct?

    I tow a 6500lb boat/trailer (give or take a couple hundred) with about a 550lb tongue weight.

With my old LT tires, I'd tow on about 35psi without ever having issues.

Shouldnt be for a given tire size with a specific load rating, I believe its standardized for uniformity.
