Is it just me or are the hard questions not being answered? I got the $770 dollar deal out of it but what you get for that is not so clear. That's not a huge sum by any means but I'd like to hear from other Flex fuel owners that have installed and updated on their experience and the performance improvements that they actually saw

Before, Mats process was to tune every truck by hand. The corona and getting the hardware from chyyyna changed things, so he went with the self tuning process. Before long there will be sample tunes that you can load or adjust yourself and load. I believe that's right anyway. But the tundra tune is not quite complete. Sometime at the end of this month it's supposed to be done.

I believe the 19 factory tune is in vF tuner. There’s no tune packs or example tunes for them yet as far as i know. He was still working on 2020 support last i saw.

i too am eagerly waiting! Order #5058. i sent logs in January from his base tune, still waiting for Rev 001. Really wanted to get the truck and S/c running on at least one custom Mat tuned revision before VF tuner...

is it going to happen? or will we all be using VF tuner moving forward?

    Thanks Mat!

i can't imagine needing to do logs more than 1-2 more times before it's dialed in enough. i know the base tune is "safe" for the S/C, but i also know you can work your magic as well

So keep sending you logs? I have not gotten any feed back after the second tune was sent and failed due to cold weather. You did say you were working on it, did you find fix for it? Order #5476

Yes on logs after receiving new update with features.

Also for 19 trucks who are interested in tuning. Please be aware there is a fuel pump recall :(

Ok. Just ran my Vin. Only recall it's showing is the blinker being dim , which I already fixed thanks to this forum. Other than that, are the 2019 tunes ready?

@OVTune I sent you logs from my base tune, but recently realized used tow haul since installing the tune. I feel like it’s gear locking in tow haul D instead of S-mode.

Should I send another email to Zendesk or will that jumble up our email chain?

I heard that it's just a fluid level issue. ;)

There were some tunes that functioned that way. I had one prior to the most recent one I was sent. To me the easiest way to check is to have it in T/H, let it upshift to what feels like 2nd and then romp on it. If there's no GL, it will downshift to 1st. What I like about doing it this way is that you can do it in a large empty parking lot nearby rather than hitting the highway, or whatever method is handy.
