Damn, glad he could walk away from it. Glad he didn't take on too much damage. Did the airbag break the wrist?

Ouch. You can see where his head smacked the winshield. He's lucky. I'm glad he's ok. No seatbelt?

Glad your pops is somewhat ok, looks like an intense ride! And that’s really sad you couldn’t watch it roll over to 1mil!
What year is it? My sister has one that looks similar, 5 speed manual, salsa red; she bought it for the fuel economy and it being a toyota. I think they’re from the same generation, she will poop herself when she hears how many miles you had on yours!

Looked kinda like a Whippoorwill. It was so small I thought it was a bat at first.

Whippoorwills have a very distinctive call if you haven't heard. If you have them in your area, search 'Whippoorwill call' on YouTube. You'll probably recognize it.

Since my father uses it for work a manual is not an option with his bad knee and hip.

Dies it rattle around? You can move the latches in a bit for a tighter fit

I added some little rubber bump extensions on top of the existing ones. 1/8” rubber glued with Fuzeit. Works good. Now that I have the Momba Impact, maybe it can rattle those Torx Screws off and do the the hinge adjust?

One other thing that helped was greasing up the gate hinges. I really loaded the cup side hinge and that quieted things.

Brainstorm time. Imagine this for those of us 2000-2002 with the Daytime Running Lights. I’ve recently disconnected mine and like it because people no longer pull out in front of me like before. Its contrary, but my idea stems off the disconnected connector.

Could one possibly/theoretically wire into the disconnected DRL connector (located next to battery) for a Full Time Running Light? Something like a Colored LED Strip or Little Lights wired into a connector fitting that fits right into the existing dis-connection. Turn on the truck and these lights come on. Would this be adverse to the main lighting system?

Good idea? Or, will it go Zzztttttt!:D
