What area and state are you in? What dealership? Been faced with a huge pay cut since the shut down. Just exploring options.

You did well on the sale of your truck, for sure! Most everyone has had to make tough choices over the past 4 months. Right now the unknown still remains just that, unknown.
As my great grand-pappy used to say "Tough times never last, But tough people do"..............

I live in the Portland metro, the dealership that bought mine was from Tacoma WA, I believe it's sold already! It's no longer on their site... that was fast!

Ill survive.. :D my wife and I can share our 2019 Subaru Ascent for now.. if needed, we'll go buy another car/truck later. If not, i'll continue to save up and wait for the 2022 or so.

good on you for being a good man to your family. not everyone makes those unselfish choices. did something similar when mine were at that age, wasn't a hard choice at all. but i'd be like, "honey can i get one of these tho, for runs to the market for you know...wipies, diapers, baby food and what not? or maybe a small used street legal motorcycle". $4k less per month is hard to swallow tho.

You're a good dad OP. Selling the truck and letting the wife take care of the kiddos at home.

Now just gotta embrace the Subaru! Start growing a pony tail and throw your deodorant in the trash.

I had a '95 Legacy that was a great car. Took a beating. And for a cheap unibody car it was built a lot better than most. If I lived in the mountains or up north I'd probably buy another one.

The hatch on it broke one day and a few back windows so instead of fixing it, I cut the roof off into a pickup truck. Looked like a white trash version of a Subaru Baja. Maybe now that you sold your pickup truck you could...ya know:sawzall: haha

LOL super ghetto! I'd rather be dead in a Ford than a hacked up Subaru lol.. just saying.
