I just installed a Softtopper on my Tundra. Easy install, bone dry after several heavy rains. I have owned both Best Top and SoftTOPper. This beats Best Top hands down IMO.

Looking good! I have been really happy with my Softopper. This is my second one. First was on a Tacoma and I got this one a week after getting the truck.

Just curious, have you guys driven on the freeway with the sides rolled up?

I would also like to know this for all the softtoppers out there.
Also, has anyone successfully found an alternative to securing the flap towards the cab of the truck without drilling into the bed or using the Velcro? I thought I saw someone mention magnets on here before. But am curious before I pull trigger on one!

Magnets would work if you don’t have a spray in bedliner, unless it’s some strong ass crazy magnet. I was thinking the same as you because I have a spray in and Velcro wouldn’t work with that.

Damn..that looks good. Been wanting to order one for a couple of months now. Just trying to justify the cost. Love the look of these on our trucks.

Hmmm.. I’ll have to look into it, I have spray in liner. Just reallllly don’t want to drill holes and I don’t have much faith in the velcro

I would try the Velcro first just to see if it works. I bet it comes with some heavy duty Velcro. I’d even email them and ask them about it and the spray in bedliner.
Also, you could try doing nothing and just tuck it in and see how that works. Maybe it doesn’t need to be totally secured.

Whats your reason for not drilling a few small holes?

Inherent aversion to opening metal in a new truck. I have flashbacks from living in Wisconsin and what a few little holes can do in terms of rust potential

Gotcha..mine has bedliner and I don't think the velcro supplied will work, as far as magnets it better be super strong..

I tried the Velcro first on mine, would not stay on the spray on bed liner. Ended up drilling in the screws and it holds great.
I drive on the freeway with the sides/ back up all the time, no issues.
