TRD air intake . Over sized wheels and tires. 4x foot well LED light bars. TRD rear sway bar Front LED light bar behind grill. Back up LED under rear bumper Front leveling kit. Pop out side steps. Three fold taunneau cover.
I got off the phone with Transport Canada this morning. They advise that they have not had enough complaints from Tundra owners to contemplate a recall even though there is a safety concern. Toyota recognized the issue, contacted me and fixed mine under the warranty. It took about 20 minutes and the flashers are now over three times brighter using the original bulb.

I will leave it up to Tundra owners to decide

Toyota is conducting a noncompliance recall involving certain Tundra vehicles
    July 15, 2020

PLANO, Texas (July 15, 2020) – Toyota is conducting a noncompliance recall involving certain 2018-2020 Model Year Toyota Tundra vehicles in the United States. Approximately 183,000 vehicles are involved in this recall.

In the subject vehicles, the wire harness connected to the front turn signal bulbs was assembled incorrectly, causing them not to illuminate as brightly as intended. This can cause the subject vehicles not to comply with certain Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard requirements.

For all involved vehicles, Toyota dealers will modify the wire harness connected to the front turn signal bulbs at no cost to customers.

Owners of involved vehicles will be notified by mid-September 2020.

Information about automotive recalls, including but not limited to the list of involved vehicles, is current as of today’s filing date and is subject to change thereafter. To see if your vehicle is involved in a safety recall visit Toyota.com/recall or nhtsa.gov/recalls and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or license plate information.

For the most up to date information surrounding recalls visit nhtsa.gov/recalls. For any additional questions, customer support is also available by calling the Toyota Customer Experience Center at 1-800-331-4331 or the Lexus Guest Experience Center at 1-800-255-3987.

Does this mean my aftermarket JDM Astar bulb will be even brighter after the wiring harness modification? Debating if I need to take it in since the Astar is plenty bright.

Wonder if the fix is the mod in the thread I saw here, simple swap of pins. I switched to bright LEDs and never bothered.

Yeah. The official Toyota recall says the wiring harness was wired wrong and they will re wire it.
