Go Rhino bed bars 2.0

Does anyone have this go rhino bed bars 2.0 install on there truck? I’m so close to pulling the trigger but I saw videos of people having problems with the anchors that have to be install when you have drill the holes on to your truck. Has anyone had this problem? If so what was your solution? I would hate to spend almost 1k and the anchor not set like it’s suppose to. Thank you guys

 

I have it on mine, I had to retap all the holes buy real stainless steel hardware and retrofit the crappy leftover plastic bedliner they give you to go between the pipes and the flat spots. If you want to spend a bunch more money and time it's good, out of the box it's crap.

 

I don’t mind spending that extra money but did you use your out of the box anchors or did you use another method?

 

I did'nt use any of their hardware, I replaced it all. But yes I used hardware where it
was meant to go.

 

How is it holding up? Weathered, rust? Wondering how they look after some time on the truck.

It has held up good but, my truck is low miles and garage kept. I would take all the hardware to a shop and replace it one by one, I mean all even the little bolts and nuts around the sides. Then tale the plastic ovals they give you and throw them out. By this to replace it:

You can aim the lights using the rocker switch and if you go into a bad area they fold flat making them harder to steal. It will take two people to assemble this and get it all in place. I will try to get some pics up. I used 5 Riged Q-series 3 different types.

I have a retractable top so the 2.0 would work. A ton of white trucks around here so I'm looking for a unique add on.

 

what plastic ovals? I bought the bed bar without the lights..

 

Also I don’t think they sell stainless steal river nuts??

 

The ovals are pieces of leftover bed liner crap or other scraps they want you to place between each bar and the flat pieces. Buy the rubber trim from Amazon. As far as the side panels those are not rivets they are button head bolts. Give me a few days to get you some photos, I just got out of the hospital.

 

I do hope your okay.. what about the gasket that goes in between the bed bar and the bed of the truck? Should I use something else?
