Finally got a backup generator installed on the house. 13kw and should be able to run the whole house during the next power outage.

I've had my for 17 years, best investment I have made.

 

Sound deadening (Kilmat) and a roller. That was the last bit of things needed for the audio overhaul coming up in the next week or so.

Just oil changes, plugs, air filter and 2 batteries.

Yeah we are usually good for a day or 2 in winter, due to falling branches or heavy snow. This last may we had a wind storm that knocked out half the county. Our little neighborhood was low on the totem pole. 3 days with no power...no well water and power for the freezer. Finally pulled the trigger. So glad we finally did.

Damn I hope i can even get close to that #. How many hours are on the generator now?

 

No clue, there is no meter on it. 1x a week for 10 minutes for 17 years + a few times for outages.

 

Gotcha. I read that they have a life expectancy of 3000 hours +/-. I just like not worrying about heat and water anymore. Got a new gas water heater on order as well. Ours just hit 21 years. No reason to chance it any longer. Now if i could magically find a contractor that would show up and give us a quote for siding.

 

I hope it's more than 3000 hours, I have to be close or over.

 

Just got me this new Pantera sun visor for my tundra. Not too shaby for sun protection

 

catio for the backyard. i'm into things with motors, my wife is into our pets...a lot our indoor felines will have a chill place this summer to hangout outside. happy wife, happy life.

 

That's awesome! Where did you buy it from? We have thought about making a catio but just haven't had the time for it.

 

picked up a couple of containers to contain stuff in the bed, console organizer, A Diamondback tonneau cover which should be here by the end of the month, and I'm about to order lights for the bed...

Not exactly a purchase ~ it was a gift for 30+ years of service at a local hospital.
The cabinet is rather small (12"W x 6.5"H x 4"D) but it puts out some remarkable sound playing from my Bluetooth link to my desktop.​

 

Haven't purchased it yet, but the next thing will be some of the new Jomax ABS covers and a rear diff breather relo kit. I would have got them anyway, but @14burrito was good enough to do the leg work and get a group buy set up for us. yeah i thought about making one too but not so skilled at woodwork. gave my wife the concept cause she's been so cool with all the cash i've dumped into my babies then she went digging. best price she could find for this model.

Got myself a Waterport
