Anybody know what the weights of the stock wheels are?
Particularly interested in the difference between the 18" steels and 18" TRD.
    Thanks

I've always wondered what the weight difference is between a new tire and the same tire at the Tread Wear Indicators. I know, tangent.

Not sure about the steel wheels, but I am pretty sure the 18' TRD wheels weigh 35lbs and the stock 275/65-18 Michelins weigh 40lbs.

    31lbs, thanks.
Just trying to figure out the lightest combo.
I need LT tires but want to maintain ride quality/braking/MPG as much as possible.

I hear ya. I'm actually removing my 295/70/18 Ridge Grapplers and Methods to put stock TRD (powdercoated black like Pro wheels) wheels and probably some 275/65/18 Falken Wildpeak tires. The additional weight really affected my towing experience which is the primary use of my truck and it's just not worth it. They look badass but I've been offroad (gravel roads...) 2 times in the year since I installed them.

    In LT275/70-18:

    Michelin LTX AT2 60lbs
    BFG KO2 57lbs
    Michelin Defender LTX MS 51lbs

Which is why I'm leaning toward the Defender. They will give the smoothest and quietest ride, best MPG/braking/acceleration, and most likely last the longest.
98/2% on/off road and it's a no brainer for my application. Ain't too worried about how aggressive my tires look. :)

I've already decided on the Defenders, for summer tires. I have two complete sets of wheels, so I have a studded snow for the winter.

Bumping this. I currently have brand new tires on the 18" steel wheels and I'm looking for the lightest/cheapest wheel that looks a little better without breaking the bank.

Not sure how relevant this information still is, but I put the TRD Pro BBS wheels on my truck today (forgot to weigh them) and took the stock wheels off.

    Scale says 31.1#.

That looks like the TRD offroad wheel not the TRD Pro wheel, not trying to be a smart ass I'm just asking as I'm still new to all this.

yeah he put pro wheels on and these were the trd wheels he took off. 31 isn’t too bad for a stock wheel. Many aftermarket wheels are 35-36 lbs

Would like to see how much the TRD pro wheel weighs. I have seen numbers from 27-31.
Going to be using my truck for towing and want to keep tire and wheel weight down and not go bigger than 33” for now.

18" wheels that I have used on my RCSB, and what they weigh.

SR5 steel rim: 39 lbs. with center cap.
SR5 alloy rim: 32 lbs. with center cap.
BBS-FORGED PRO: 27 lbs. with center cap

Yeah I thought the original question was about how much the stock wheels weigh.

There’s another thread that said the TRD Pro BBS wheels are about 3.35# less and the underlying question was, “3.35 pounds less than what?”

I forgot to weigh the BBS wheels before I had them put on.

Are the TRD Pro wheels an 18x8 or 18x9 wheel?

Had a question, what did the 20 inch oem wheels weight each?

from that thread, "The 2019 Tundra Platinum 20" wheel weighs 40.5 pounds." But he weighed wheel/tire combo and subtracted supposed tire weight. So I'm not sure sure it's accurate. Amazon has 3rd party replica's that weigh 31lbs, and another search I saw from another forum says 37lbs for the 20". Can't find anything conclusive

My 22" TRD Forged rims just weighed in at 36lbs.
