So YOU were the one that bought that inferno
I looked at that one and passed. But then couldn't find any others and reluctantly called them a couple of days later and they were like "it has a deposit".

It all worked out though cause now we both have one.

Hard to fathom given that IT IS SO HOT here in the deep south you can't even hold onto the house outside door knob.

Years ago a friend got a fantastic deal on a Ford Expolder that had suffered hail damage on the flat surfaces like the hood and roof.
He just drove it as is . . .

If I needed a vehicle I would be scoping what kind of deals and discounts they had. Hell, if it weren't the other side of the country I'd probably scope the deals anyway. I wouldn't mind a reliable, ugly beater as a DD, especially if I could get it brand new.

Haha. You were the one that was “Coming in the next day to look at it”? I thought they were just pulling one of their usual sales tactics. I went in there to test drive a ‘17 Titan and left with the Tundra. They gave it a good detail and I picked it up the following day.

Who the hell knows with them. They have a great service department but their sales department leaves a little bit to be desired. Probably no different than anywhere else actually. Although, I’ve had some great experiences at Patriot Subaru in Saco.
And yes...Inferno is the best color

I’m loving this “cold spell” lol. Been able to get a ton of stuff done outside. Sitting in a mail truck all day in 100% humidity is not fun.

I got 17 years in so I’m just trying to ride it out. So much for the bachelors degree in psychology. Maybe in my next life I’ll put that degree to use. When I moved to Maine, I didn’t realize how much the job market sucked unless you want to travel for work. Local post office was hiring and here we are now. Just living the dream :frusty:
