Distance from bottom of open tailgate to hitch receiver?

I'm thinking about picking up a 2nd gen Tundra and am curious about a specific dimension. It is the vertical distance from the top-inside of the receiver hitch to the bottom of the open tailgate. I uploaded a picture to show what I'm looking for.

Anyone able to measure this on their truck?

The tailgate on the 2nd gen is curved. From the top inside of the receiver opening straight up to the tailgate is exactly 11 inches on mine.

 

Thanks! Would you say that 11" is to the lowest point of the curved tailgate?

 

I would say pretty close to that.

 

Thanks. Was trying to see if this single bike hitch rack would fit folded up. Looks like a no by less than 1".
