Since I installed my audio system I've had an issue with my cruise control turning off and on - see video for what it does. This is all the time, whether moving or parked.

I've looked here and on google for this issue and all I've seen is clock spring and cruise unit. Since this has started I have had the power disconnected for over 30 minutes, I've changed out the cruise control unit, I've changed the clock spring, and disconnected the sound system to make sure it wasn't inducing any issues with no success at fixing it. I'm stumped now as to what is causing this - any clue for how I would fix it? Looks to be something like a grounding issue, but I've tightened a couple down and no other systems are showing any issues - all steering wheel controls work perfectly.

You could try going to a nearby auto parts store. Most stores around here will check for codes for free, hoping to sell you a part.

I saw a few people mention the brake pedal sensor, try wiggling that thing around, see if it has a good connection and if it affects the blinking light.

    Then to the stealer$hip!

    Good luck!
