I drove with my links broken and hanging. You can unlink yours and see how you like the ride for a while. When I had my front end rebuilt by others they hooked the front back up with new links. Truck felt alive again! Read up on the Hellwig Rear Sway to keep my inside turning tire planted on the pavement on slow turns to acceleration. Bought/installed it and another level of street performance was achieved.

I get the whole off road articulation thing for many here, but fact of the matter most of us are 99.5% street driving. Best thing you can do is re-hook up the front with new links and buy a rear Hellwig. You won’t be disappointed. Highway speed lane changes, slow turns, and everything in between are way better.

Driving around in my little pueblo, I think "on road" driving maybe more akin to off road in more civilized locales!

Thanks. Im gonna go spray some pb blast on the bolts in a moment and then loosen the end links and go for a drive to see what is what.
As an aside, after the 6112 install, I went for a quick spin and thought the body roll didnt change much. Well after a longer ride last night, it is definitely less. I like that. The truck feels way better after that coilover/shock change.

Mine have only been on for about 8,000 miles, but so far no issues at all. I bought the Eibach SPC ones so they come with greaseable ball joints but were $500. If I were to do it again I would probably by the JBA arms, they weren't available yet when I got mine.

I'd do it if you are replacing calipers anyway. Also, if you can find a local machine shop, it's cheaper to buy reman calipers and have them machined.

If you don't want to mess with facebook, I have his phone number and email address off his main page.

Yes whichever route I go, I'll be getting new calipers and rotors. If you want to send me his contact info that would be great.

    Okay, awesome.
So what's the difference between the eibach, and JBA?

Is that just a different vendor?

@Tundra2 They're just different styles of arms. I went with SPC since they're easy to get replacement ball joints for if needed.

    Sweet.

Ease of replacement parts acquisition was a key point for looking for new arms for me.

The F5 is my favorite wheel. I'll eventually sell my Ray 10's and get some gunmetal F5's.

I may be passing through Fontucky this weekend too. Damn it Erik! I might have to deal with an angry wife!

I'm thinking it over. I really wanted 17s to open up tire size options but at this price (with a bit of work and a bit of paint) is pretty hard to pass up. I could probably sell my KMC for 150-200. Hmm...

Yea they are clean. Even though I rarely drive it, I'm considering when the ko2s need replacing, putting some wheels on the LX470. Id toss bumpers on it but the weight on the AHC doesn't play well together and my wife won't let me swap to OME on it.....

Cruise'n on western KY parkway. I see in the incoming traffic a brand new tacoma (pro?)

With the factory snorkel, and all the bells/whistles towing a flatbed with a good size Kubota tractor on it. That dude looked like this... but worse.

Rear tires were definitely rubbing the upper wheel well.

Anyone have a short cut on all the SST (special service tools) needed for Timing Belt Replacement? I’ll be doing my Cam and Drive Shaft Seals, too. Looking for cheap one time use tools or ideas on ways to make it happen with an moderately deep existing tool box quiver. I can make my own SST if needed, as I remember one guy made his own pulley holder. Think I need a pulley puller as well.

Man I could have sworn you had the timing belt done in the past few years. Must be thinking of your suspension overhaul?
