What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I have a 2020 Platinum and got Techstream off Amazon for $40, turned off the chimes as wanted, haven’t done much more with it yet, so not sure what else it can do but when I hook it up to truck there’s a ton of options listed!

 

Did mine about a month ago when i installed the TRD CAI. whatever you do DO NOT use the high temp CLEAR COAT VHT offers. its turning yellow already so i think I'm gonna try and sand it off this weekend. The red and white High temp was perfect (except for my bad tape job where the white bled through) but then wanted to be high speed with a clear coat. DUMMY! Hopefully a light sand will pull the clear coat and not the other colors.

 

do these actually work now? i had one years ago when i thought i was street racer and the Fast and Furious movies were out lol but it didn't work for crap!

 

take off the badging on the doors too. Will look much cleaner in my opinion.

 

I have the Valentine 1 and it's worth every penny. It does fwd, aft and side radar detection.

 

For me it has worked. Has saved me from two speed traps. Pays for its self after one.

What version did you get? Mine was 14.20.019.

 

I have a picture of it but it's not the best quality as I was in direct sunlight. Some of the info is: Elapsed Time, Time and Date, and the Trigger.
Some entries are: Sudden Braking, Accelerator high position in mid to high speed, Sudden Braking. I tow a travel trailer with it so I'm sure that just freaks it all out.

Secured my skid plate (missing some bolts) and painted the tow hooks!

 

Oh man that sucks (about the yellowing) not the pic, the pic is awesome. I almost bought that clear coat last weekend and decided to hold off. Thanks for the warning. Thinking I’m going to go with silver in the middle with red along the edges, leaving the badge area black but make the letters red. Just wondering how to tape it. Son tells me to use the rubberized red on the lettering and running a toothpick around the letters to pull off the excess. I did pull the tow hooks off the front and painted them this weekend. Just waiting for them to dry/cure a little more.

 

Finished the compressor install. Get compressor shelf, 3/8" braided hose, fittings, time and effort. I added the rear location because I tow a boat often and thought it would be worth the effort.

 

Pulled together the red TRD theme..



Thinking painting of the tow hooks and calipers are in the future.. as well as, doing something about the TRD 4x4 Off Road decal..

 

The skulls look great and great job on the paint job I did the same to mine but just black and white

 

And got the Rostra Brake Light Camera installed so I can safely backup again!

Man am I happy again!

I’m almost positive that’s exactly what mine was, I’d have to go back and look...I did it awhile back, I think it was right after that version was released because I remember the company telling me it was brand new

Added some side steps/rail , a little easier for the 5 foot wife to get in and out of now

I have the 10" too, after a year I still roll around with the windows down and stereo off sometimes. The on-ramp I use where I live has a tall wall to block sound on the right side and the echo is so good! Have taken it on 8 hour road trips and no complaints (have resonator on).
