That's an SDHQ built truck, to my knowledge it was a 3/2 lift. fitting them with the -12mm offset will definitely require cab mount chop/box mod and either a healthy amount of cutting of the factory liner on the back of the front bumper or an aftermarket from bumper for better clearance. Much less would need to be done if you kept into the positive offset range.

The wheels I'm looking at is available in a +18 offset so if i go with that do you think the 35x12.5 would work without major trimming or should I go with a 33x12.5?

Should be pretty straightforward to get to clear with the +18s

So, let's say I have a 3/1 lift and am planning to buy 20x9 method standards +18 offset. Can I run a 305/55/20 or a 295/60/20 without major trimming.

I'm no expert, but what I have learned from some of the tire experts on here. The 305/55/20 with +18 should fit with no mods, the tire will stick out pass the fender well. I'm back and forth with tires also. 18 or move up to 20. Hope this helps

Very nice looking wheels and tires. What are your thoughts on the tires?

    Also for @Sean266

Created in AutoCAD. Old wheel/tire is in the cyan color and New wheel/tire is in the dark blue. Hub and axle in hatched black.
Shows that the new wheel and tire will stick out 2.5" further than the previous tire and you will have 5/8" additional clearance to the control arms.
    AutoCAD of seans wheel.jpg

I should start charging for this stuff.

Just seeing where it would line up on the inside. I should figure out the distance to the UCA and fender to show that too.

Well... I've finally caved in on trying to keep my truck more stock looking. You, Brian and Steve are killing me with all your mods. Your trucks are all looking bad ass with 35s. So I'm relenting and getting different rims and after the tread runs down on my tires I'll be getting 35s to go with my lift.

@csuviper I'm even going to peel the tss decals off the bed.... :annoyed:

Awesome. Do it. 35's are the way to go. Gotta ask why new wheels. The TSS ones are very nice.

I really like them too, but it came down to two things. I want the wheels out further when I get my lift on and I want either a solid black or solid machined wheel. If I had a rock warrior or trd truck I'd be more inclined to keep some of the stock stuff, but the tss package is just a gulf states Toyota package so I decided I'm not married to it and I'm going to change it all up. Wheels, bumpers maybe flares. I've got a hell of a new truck itch, so I figure I'd do something drastic with mine before I go crazy and spend money on a new truck.

Have you seen these two trucks? This is where I'm going with it, something like that. 3.5 inch lift though, no bracket lift.

Hey guys new here I have a 2011 crew cab 4x4. I have read this thread front to back a million times. Just got the boss kit from Toytec. Looking to get fuel anza 20x9 and wanting to stuff Toyo MT 35x12.5x20. For those of you running true 35" tires what kind of cutting/chopping mods did you guys run I to. Would it be best to run 18" with 33" tires 295x70x18?

Idk of the anza comes in multiple offsets but that would play a big role in what it will hit or not.

So I made an appointment today to get the new front bumper I've been wanting from SDHQ, and have the body mounts cut out. I'm wanting to get the Method Roost Wheels 18x9 +18 offest, with some Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx 295/70R18 tires. I know a few of you have said before that that size tire will work on the PRO, especially since bumper and body mount issues shouldn't be there anymore... Will that offset be an issue? The shop still thinks I'm going to have rubbing issues? I just don't want to buy something that won't fit. Here is a link to a side by side comparison... Any advise...

    Thanks!

I sure hope bfgoodrich gets there ko2 in a 35 by the time I need tires... Which I was looking at mine the other day and it's looking like they will need to be replaced before long. My truck came with the ko and if anyone was looking for a good tire for ice and snow, these are it. I've gone thru two winters with them and with 4wd, the preformed well. I didn't get stuck once. If they don't get the tire size I want I'll be going with toyo r/t's. I'm sure there are others that work well, but these two are my favorite looking tire also.
