A little of this and a little of that.
We have paid every tax season, this year we should be getting back some cash. So excited. The wife however will probably have it saved before I can get to it. So......savings/retirement.

Using every cent I get to pay for the kids grad school. If you thought 4 years of under graduate college was expensive don't look at graduate level at a private university. I literally almost had a seizure.

Your speaking a foreign language, unfortunately. I work hard at, and pay my accountant a good chunk of change - just in hopes of not having to write a check to those yahoo's and more often than not - minimizing the digits of the check I do have to write.

We maxed out the emergency fund and both retirement accounts for the year so the wife let me spend a chunk of change on the truck this year.

I picked up 5100's for front and rear, Toytec shackles, 18x9 +25 Method NV wheels in bronze, 295/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and a TRD Pro grille. Going to install most of it next weekend.

Yeah, I got sick of that game after a couple of years where I owed frightening amounts... After that I just decided to overpay and treat it like a savings account...

I'm sure the American tax system is designed to create jobs for CPAs... Y'all make it very complicated

Just speculating I'll get a state return but owe the Fed, the rest if any will go to putting in a front door and redoing the front porch.

Our CPA got us $500 back and I'm just happy we don't have to pay in. My wife just allows me to pay for the upgrades throughout the year. But now I have to slow it down due to us relocating to TN next year. Gotta save save save...and get this house ready for the market

I'd gladly give up my tax work if it meant simplifying the tax code.

Unfortunately, software has made it possible to put someone in a booth at Walmart to do your tax work. I'd feel really comfortable giving him my SSN, routing/checking #, D.O.B, and soon drivers license.

Hoping I don't get one. (Don't like the Fed keeping my money interest-free all year).

I'd like a transfer-flow but I'll probably wait a bit on that. At least until my initial warranty (CPO) runs out.

Home improvements. I'm slowly finishing up building our house. Building all my own doors, windows, cabinets etc. slows things down a lot! I can't afford to employ anyone to help me so I do everything myself, except hang sheet rock. I'm really close to finishing though,,,,, sort of.
