Yeah the power would be nice, but 600+ for safety features and 70 hp sounds expensive in the long run, not to mention less than 13 mpgs. @Hbjeff explain more on the gears and the differences between those and the stock 4:30's.

4.6 trucks do not have 4.30 gears. You have either 3.90 or 4.10. However that is with 32 inch tires, bigger tires means less engine rpm for any given speed. Going to 4.88 gears means you get more revs, putting you back into the Better powerband of the Engine

Personally, I sell privately. Only one time has a dealer ever beat my private party asking price.

Secondly, not having a vehicle payment is awesome. Try it out for a while. Maybe take your monthly payments you were paying and have a truck fund for the next purchase. When the decision was made to buy a bigger truck, I saved for 34 months. This gave me purchasing power.

Never know, the next generation Tundra might be what you are looking for.

so close to the next generation. I would hold on. I love my gen 2 but I'm interested to see what Toyota has for 2021/2022.
gen 3 are basically gen 2 minus few cosmetics and creature comforts.

Plus you know the history of your truck.
