New Stock yet for Tundras?

Hi all, anyone come across new stock yet? I realize the factories were closed for a bit and just wondering if anyone has been keeping an eye out on new inventory. Originally it was project for July/Aug by my sales guy but I dont trust a word he says.

With the new production, will these be still 2020 or they converting over to the 2021 label?

 

my local dealership normally keeps 20-22 on the lot and they have 2 as of yesterday afternoon.

 

Not 1 tundra or sequoia on the lot down here I walked the dealership yesterday waiting at service.

 

Good to know. I'm in Canada so I'm crossing fingers those new stock start coming here.

 

Hmmm looks like possibly geographically that has issues on new stock?

You need a new sales guy. Not saying he is right or wrong, but you haven’t bought the truck yet and already don’t trust him? Wait until time to negotiate and sign paperwork.

 

Same here. Also very few if any used trucks.

 

The Tundra/Tacoma plant in San Antonio was closed for a bit. It's reopened now. But it made a huge impact here in Texas.

 

Just picked up my Platinum, build date was Jan, ‘20. Dealer usually has about a dozen truck, they have 7 or 8 now. They did not know if they would be getting any more ‘20’s..

 

My local dealer in Northeast Ohio has 6. 4 1794's, a platinum and a limited. Another dealer by me has just one, it's an SR5. So there thin and few.

 

I just sold mine to a dealership. They are paying top dollar.

Sounds like it's all pre covid 19 stock left then. Guess the new ones havent been rolling off the line just yet.

 

Southeast Toyota has an allocation of over 130 Tundra’s, all 2020’s. My new TRD Pro arrived today. I’ve driven a 08 Voodoo Blue Tacoma for 158k miles. Super stoked to take a step up... my dealer had about 5 on the lot.

 

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL TRUCK.

 

Wonder if the build quality will suffer with all the factory workers having to wear masks. Including all the tier 1 and 2 suppliers.

 

Sad part is there are very few Tundras at the local dealers. Looking to trade in my 2013 Tacoma for a new Tundra. The dealers want to give me 19K to 20K for my Tacoma. But the dealers have nothing that I want and, here is the crazy part. What is on the Lots are ridiculously expensive. A simple TRD Sport DC is 49K, a Limited is 55K, Platinum is 60k-65k . I live in Rhode Island, and there are a lot of dealers in my area and they are all priced the same. It's crazy that the dealers price these trucks this high for the limited stock available. I just need to play the waiting game to get what I want.

 

If it was Fiat/RAM I'd be concerned....besides, brain surgeons and operating room RN's wear ppe all the time before Covid.

As one who is in the market for buying a new Tundra, this has been a concern of mine as well.

 

Holy cow Catmann... Dealer near me had the Platinum priced at about $51k before $2.5k rebate! Take a drive a little south...

 

I just may have to drive a lot further for a good deal I guess.

 

Dealer in Lubbock, Tx has less than 9 20’s on the lot. But oh boy do they have a ton of 4 Runners.

At my local dealership yesterday in Gastonia, NC...no Tundras on the lot.

 

Just checked my dealer in Allentown PA, they have 9 2020’s in stock.

 

NE Houston, I checked several stealerships this week and have quite a large inventory. I guess with the plant in San Antonio and Gulfstates distributer being in the region they can keep us stocked up. I’m kicking around the idea of trading my 15 SR5 CM 4x4 for a new Pro.
