    Yea, horses were being shocked through their shoes (unintentionally) 4-5 mi. away from his lab. He was trying to send electricity wirelessly. His vision was that we'd all receive our power wirelessly. I think he almost died there in Co. You know, explosion, fire, narrowly escaped, that kind of thing.

    That was cool. Didn't mention Westinghouse though and the millions he owed Tesla but couldn't pay. Tesla wasn't upset with Westinghouse. I read that Edison traveled the country euthanizing cows on the back trains to dispute AC.

    I always love learning about Tesla. Super cool guy. I actually don't live too far, couple minutes, from where his Colorado lab was located. Had the biggest Tesla Coil he ever made in it:

    It's too bad they tore it down.

    Coolest thing I've read about him was his story about an earthquake machine he made. I'll have to see if I can find it again. It was pretty creepy.
