Been hectic since my return. These are empty.

I was told that the dry icing was completed only on an immediate, and necessary need. They basically left it up to me to clean all the hot molds in the building. o_O

Thats fine. I can jam out, and listen to tunes with my earbuds, and no one will ever know. Thanks earmuffs.

Hope yall like your weatherstrip joints, crisp, clean, and bonded well.:D

I think they make like industrial type earbuds/plugs that are approved by someone to reduce loud noises, maybe homies has them, they are yellow, I’ll ask my “lead” tomorrow

Mine are external noise canceling with the gun range, over the head earmuffs. Probably not the best, but I really don't have to crank the volume way up to still hear my tunes.

We really aren't supposed to use earbuds because we walk all over the plant. In/out of traffic aisles, walk ways, etc.

Management allows production to use them, and I figure with my being basically stationary, and cleaning molds whats the big deal?

We can't even do that, technically. That's why my earbuds are wireless. The fit in my ear, and the ear muffs fit over my ears. :D

I mean shit, my supervisor walks around with one in constantly, but because of his mask covering his whole face you really can't tell. (Wraps around his head.)

I'm grateful I don't have any of the usual suspects like cholesterol, high blood pressure etc. I'm allergic to soy which really reduces my diet but double cheeseburger with bacon is all good. I just can't eat burgers from Booga king, McDonald's or the like.

Guys a biologist. Does art as a hobby. Not for money. I’ve learned that the artists that do it because they love it have true talent. You make art for money and it’s never as good

That all depends, doing commissions usually doesn't bring out the depths of talent because it isn't inspired. Doing art that you want to do, and if you happen to get paid for it, usually has the best outcome. Totally agree there.

My brother in law is an artist. He does some rad stuff, he doesn't do commissions. He's living the good life in Norway.

Here he hacked at a wood wall with a hatchet to make a portrait. I have a video of him doing this. 20200312_202742.jpg

Noice.. I’m not artistic at all. But I can make a car look good! (With a body shop doing the paint). My image of a vehicle always comes out looking good to me... (and usually others)

I don't have the artistic genes either, closest I get is painting old furniture. I do really enjoy seeing good art though.

Noticed a new sound today when I went out to the truck for lunch. Soft popping from the rear. I'm assuming it's the leafs?

Was thinking when I get new tires, Im going to sell my current wheels and get some new ones. Im stuck between these two.

tOeeqlUh.jpg These are Fn Counter steers, 17x8 -10offset 4.1backspacing. link
fivestars2-1_zpsf31463ad.jpg these are FN Five stars, 17x8.5 -6offset 4.5bs. link (this link is for 16" five stars, for 17 you have to call and order)

Just seeing what you guys think, I am pretty stuck between the two. Id get gunmetal color in both. The counter steers have less BS which might be better for 285/70r17s but cant decide. feedback is appreciated!

I cleaned this up a few years ago. Control cabinet for all the conveyors at UPS. We had to move it over 2 feet.

    Fantastic work!

I'm the only guy on my shift currently. Between mold changes, dry icing, and answering calls I don't have the time.

Besides all the machines are ran 12 hours per production shift. There are 2 shifts.

They canned my original 3rd shift cohort. They bumped a 2nd shift guy to my shift so he could "train" me on the airbag assembly machines. Thats what they told him.

On our first "corona" check (temp reading) he had a 99.1 fever. They sent him home with pay until he gets tested.
