Keep us posted once you have them installed. Are you coming from strictly stock shocks or did you have something else on first ?

Thanks again for the great deal Joe.

Tomorrow she'll get a bath and if I'm not too lazy I'll black out the wheels.

I think it was Harley Orange with a clear coat that I ended up choosing. Out of like 20+ oranges it was the closest I could find. It has a small amount of flake in it. I've attempted the center rings several times and the paint keeps chipping away. This should do the trick, and threw in a couple other items to match.

Lock and chained the 37" spare in the bed and bought a spare tire cover to keep it out of the elements. (direct sunlight beating down on it) Super heavy duty cover by Smittybilt and only $26.00 in stock at my local 4-wheel parts.

1UPPER, did you paint the Thule Racks or does Thule sell them in Black. I've thought of painting mine.

    Flux capacitor!
I took all the rubber and plastic parts off of them and had them powder coated. I wanted something more durable than paint since they were going to get a lot of use.

Just installed it today. But from what I've read online there shouldn't be any leakage.

Nice cover, I too have the diamondback cover and I LOVE it! Also had some pretty good rain storms here in Vegas, not a drop in the bed. When I open the cover I can see the inner half of the bed cap is bone dry and the outer part is wet. The seals do an excellent job of keeping water out.

I've had mine for almost a year and no leaking. To get the best seal, have someone small stand on top as your making adjustments to locking arms.
