Who’s who, 1st gen. edition

I’m kinda impressed with your work get up, way more official looking than what we wear. We look like custodians, not that there’s anything wrong with that. And most of our shirts are polyester blend of some kind, real smart around flames and heat and sweating

 

Ours are flame rated car hart. Ours are rated down to 30°F. In electrical cabinets sleeves must be down, and buttons all the way up. Very hot.

 

Pfff, this is 1st gen section. We don't get offended. Well, I think marbles did. And that 1 other guy that one time.

 

Tell me about it...

 

Here is a selfie I took 50 feet up in a scissor lift installing a "diaper" because work thinks its a better idea to put up diapers than to fix the leaky roof.

My harness is messed up, I know. I fixed it after the picture so in the event of a fall it wouldn't strangle me to death.

 

My office has little trash cans in the suspended ceiling rather than fixing leaks. They did upgrade last winter though, the realized if they use a liner in the trash can it's easier to dump the water.

 

Accounting department didn't throw a fit over those liners?

 

My brother is half Japanese, so I suppose my nephew is a quarter.

 

Surprisingly no, this happened after our Chairman left the California office for the new Nevada office.

Rumor has it, he saw a guy in that office throw away a paper cup and grab a new cup for coffee. He asked him how many cups he goes through in a day. 3 months later "to do our part to save the Earth" we stopped getting paper cups.

 

My industry got ugly during the last recession and things have never been the same. I'm trying to get healthy at the moment but I am seriously considering a career change. Everybody has been penny pinching but at some point, your gonna have to pay

Oh I know. I've lived in Florida twice. It would be hard to convince me to move back.

 

It's an upgrade from NYC so perspective, all about perspective.
In all honesty, I kinda like Texas because of the people. Almost everywhere I've been people kinda represent there city or neighborhood. Not Texans. They are proud of there state and country like no other. I'll never forget when I saw a fallen soldiers body being transported through San Antonio, everything and I mean everything came to a stop. It was like the whole city stopped and stood roadside to watch. Flags in hand. I've been a lot of places, I've only seen that in Texas.

Do you have to wear the mask when snorkeling butt? It kinda makes breathing out her mouth difficult

 

Its an optional piece of gear for snorkeling.

I don't reccomend wearing it during activities though.
