I used valvoline max life in trans and used super tech gear oil in differentials.

Any reason why you gravitate towards those choices?

I typically buy the products off the shelf at the local auto parts store. When I needed gear oil and visited Pep Boys they had Valvoline products and Trans-X LSD friction modifier.
I get the Toyota oil filters at the right price as a friend works at the local dealership. Any decent product that meets or exceeds the OEM specifications will be just fine.
Lots of choices out there ~ you just need to find what you prefer.

Rotella Gas Truck cause I hoarded the clearance.
Supertech syn gear oils cause easy to get.
Maxlife ATF cause I've never had problems with it on 8 Toyotas.
    OEM filters, bulk off Amazon.
Whatever cheap engine and cabin filters off Amazon. Change them as needed.

It's a Toyota. I value regular routine maintenance vs boutique and/or marketing hype.

That’s why I ask this, some Prefer a specific brand and others not. myself.... if you take care of your truck... it takes care of you.

Almost all the oil products out there are made by 1 of the few manufactures and then relabeled. If it meets the spec then your good.

Supertech gear oil has received good reviews at bitog

I use Mobil 1, Valvoline or any of the other name brands that are available at most auto parts stores or Walmart. I prefer to use fluids that are widely available and not have to rely on mail order.
