I was reflecting upon my day, and I think I did a wonderful job on my first tape/paint job.

Drivers side led strip will be by far the most used mod, and most noticeable.

I don't have gift cards. The fam knows I'll forget I have them, and then they will expire. They will stay in my wallet for 2 years min before I find them again. Lol

my crappy camera is slower than the ABS light.
Turning key only gets me (2003 4x4) Battery, seat belt, engine check, (ABS), airbag, A/T Oil Temp.

I like the layout of your dash. Generally the same as mine, but different.
The light under your "fuel door" is the one I was referring to as the "Airbag light"

I think @empty_lord said neowedge had leds for something similar to these styles?
Might be worth my time, and piece of mind to return my oil/AT oil temp light to proper operation.

Here is the wiring set up for light strip. The harness on the light it self was VERY short. Used solder/seal connectors on each wire, and made an extension. 20200705_001736.jpg
Once those cooled I cut a piece of black heat shrink to cover both individual solder/seals for insulation color match bonus points! (Blue circle) T-taps that were a pain to use on the door light. Feels like shitty product. The "latch" on t-tap didn't want to latch.

I wished the light strip had a 90° bend in it at the hook up point. I tried a few different angles to go straight up into the door, but it didn't work with door gap, or my brain. (Pink highlight)

The masking tape in white circle is temporary until I figure out something better. Also, sealed the cut end of the light strip with Rustoleum rubber spray. $4 cheaper than spray flex seal.

oh, no - you are correct, that is an airbag light. The ABS light would be left of the airbag light - but it goes out before my camera focuses.

Maybe you can shed some light on what this symbol is?20200705_003225.jpg

Seems like it could be two different lights? Does it mean Auto trans Problem?

20200705_005229.jpg Well, I fucked up tinkering around.

Here are internal views. Pink is the reflector for LED light behind HVAC speed control area. Blue is the actual switch. 20200705_005538.jpg
I wonder if the reflector could be cleaned with alcohol, and Q-tip?20200705_005457.jpg

Doesn't appear to have the best light pattern on the reflector to start with.

I have a lot of useless things laying around but I know for sure I have zero rubber bands. Lol. Good idea though! I'll investigate if I happen to find one.

Every few weeks I go out and try these clear corners again, and I just get sad that the driver side one is all fucked up but the passenger side one is completely fine :bananadead:

Been working in the hotbox garage all day, its 91 outside and 31% humidity. Wife tried to walk the pup 2 hours ago and I said take him back inside, it's too damn hot for him.

Just decided to take a break and eat lunch (at 5:30pm) and I walk in the house. Its fahking 84 degrees in here and shes got all the windows open!

Whatthaaaafaaaaahk???? I shut all the windows and turned the damn AC on. Puppy should thank me.

Heres me new shelves. I missed an important clearance problem and had to leave the top one lower than I'd like, but its fine. They're screwed into wall studs on the back and came out real strong. Now to fill them up.
