C4 Fabrications prototype Tundra bumper

On non pro grill tundra's the bull bar hits in the t emblem.

 

man I don’t but I need to work one up, the front is on its fourth suspension and rear on third. All in about year. Buy one cry once is real. Right now it king 3.0 all corners, custom deaver pack, leitner rack, c4 front bumper, expedition one rear, bd lights, kooks long tube headers, magnuson supercharger, and a few other odds and ends. I can vouch for everyone of these products in the harshest of day care pick up line conditions! They will sit at a stand still and look/sound awesome like now other...

 

What midpipes are you running with the kooks headers? I’m wanting to do this mod with dirty deeds mufflers/resonators. The HP and tq increase are crazy!

Sweet! Dumb question, looking at their site, did you just choose none for the bull bar? Also, was it difficult to get the rigid lights connected to the truck? Thanks!

 

Correct. Chose none in the drop down menu. I put the light bar and winch on prior to putting the bumper on the truck. I ran the pods after. Was pretty easy, just time consuming running the wires to the Spod and using wire loom and zip ties.

 

One more thing....I purchased the 3" Rigid extension brackets to attach the lights to the bumper because I didnt want the logos upside down.

 

What winch are you guys using ? I have the C4 Overland bumper but have not decided on a winch yet.Wondering what fits with out relocating the winch controller.

 

I went with the Warn Evo 12s. Fit perfectly in the hybrid bumper.

 

man... didn’t even think to look if the mounts could be installed inverted. I’m gonna have to look into these extended brackets. Luckily, the bumper is just sitting in the garage waiting for time to install and wire it all

 

Has anyone installed the Diode Dynamics 30 inch light bar on their C4 bumper or know if will fit? The C4 website says the the cutout is designed for the Baja Design 30 inch light bar. I'm wanting to go with Diode Dynamics light as they are cheaper and I feel the out put is better then the Baja Design lights.

Give C4 a call, they were helpful when I called

I had questions about the bar cut out also, and they said because of fitment issues with lots of other brands they just stick to recommending the BDs.

 

I am running the Warn Evo 12-S in my overland bumper. Fits perfectly.

 

I think it also fits the brand of lights they sell so hopefully it fits more than just BD

Question. The mid hood looks like it would be right in front of the sensor with the sport grill? Do you know if it would interfere with a sport grill TSS?

You sure, that looks mid height to me. Here are the options from C4.

 

he has side tubes so looks like full height to me. I think mid height is just one small loop.

 

Looking at the Tacoma full height bumper it goes to the top of the grill. C4 doesn't really specify which is which on their website for the Tundra.

 

What light bar and fog lights did you go with?

 

I have all rigid lights on the bumper and on my hood bulge I went with head light revolution light bar.

 

Back when I ordered my bumper I only had option for top tube or No top tube,Did not even know about different hieghts until now.
