Okay, well let me ask a few Union questions.

My entire life I have always heard "bad things" about unions. The "local" boiler makers union. I have heard stories like "The union won't let me work more than 40 hours." The union this the union that.

I can't think of any other examples from my time in/out of factories at the moment.

What I'm saying is, I like to work. It helps me keep my mind focused on the positive. Most of the time. When I was at work I was pulling 60-70 hours weekly. Including my commute.

If I decide that that route would be better for me, then I don't want to downshift from 5th gear into 2nd gear rolling 75 on the freeway.

    ^If that makes any sense.

The answer is...it depends on the Union. Honestly like everything else they're as good as the membership holding them accountable. The only way to get a good feel is to talk to a bunch of different members.

Do I have some complaints with mine? Sure but in the grand scheme they're relatively minor.

KY is a different working landscape than PA so I can't give any better explanation than that.

After some research and education, the misses is understanding the LX470/Landcruiser. She wants to drive 1 to get a feel for it. She dug this up and is in love, but the $$$$$$

They sell the LC's for way more than the going rate. They find clean examples, mod them, and ask a TON.

You can find stock clean ones 05-07 in the 10k-14k range.

Also, where are you in Florida?

I'm right by Ft Lauderdale airport.
I can find a clean low mileage truck down here, plenty of rich older adults here in the south:rofl:

Not pictured is rear breather mod. Will run into drivers side tail light area.

Grease rub appears to be holding. Still dusty as grease accumulates accordingly.

Yea that's a bit far as I'd let you guys drive ours.

I found mine in Sarasota (Wilde Lexus). 116K single owner, every service was done ahead of schedule, Immaculate condition for 17K OTD. This was 3 years ago. (thought it was 2 but just verified!)

I've only tossed on 33" ko2's right after I purchased (50k so far and a lot of tread life left) and then the ******** roof rack with the Alu cab 270 awning (which is AMAZING!!!!) Truck has been phenomenal.

Biggest con, windshield! The angle, or lack thereof, allows rocks to crack it too often imo. I'm on my 3rd windshield in 50k miles.

3rd windshield, damnnnnn. My truck needs a windshield, dump trucks on the highway always have crap flying out of the top.

Your up in the Sarasota area? We are trying to plan a staycation and the hot springs over on that side is on the short list of places we are considering. St Augustine is another we want to check out. If and when we get all sorted I'll reach out to you if that's ok.

Well that turned out okay. Zip tied it up, and then turned the end of the hose down.

You guys have crazy-low taxes too. I very-much debated moving to TN. I'm living proof of trade demand though. I got my IT degree and promptly started working in Construction management after I graduated. because we're a GC, we see all the trades, and the demand for good workers has been insane for the last few years.

Nice. I like that Relay action. Is that the newer relay that costs $60? I’ve always wanted a Yellow Amber Lamps Kojack Style Light and my little coin holder back.

Yes, the smart tap unit. I actually really like it. I think it even sounds the same as the original one. Which I still have stored away just in case. lol

I could make a comparison video if desired.

That was the laptop on the 3G router.
Every other ISP we have tried throttles your speeds down after 20 GB. The local ISP's suck.
    I have tried:
    1. Every satellite provider I could find.
    2. A 4G router which died 4 months after getting it.
    3. DSL is not available here. IN FACT, no one here even knows what it is! Burns my whole asshole.
    4. Hell, I even looked into RADIO INTERNET. Which is a thing in Texas I think. https://www.gtek.biz/high-speed-internet
T-mobile, sprint, and Verizon towers are over 20 miles away.

Att tower is 15 miles away.

I fucking hate the options here. I used to game online, but I could only do that if the wind was right, fingers pointed east, toes pointed west, tongue pointing north, and the stars aligned.Screenshot_20200702-124649_Google.jpg

This is on my phone. One 4G LTEA bar of signal.

Living in a town of 4,200 people kinda stinks.

    The gene pool sucks.
Some family trees look like telephone poles.
    The internet sucks.
Friends that you really thought had your back, turns out they never really did at all.

That is why I work so hard. To distract myself.

    I'll shut up now.
