The yellow regular cab would look good in black, but other than that I kind of agree; I'm just trying to represent different styles of customization here...

 

Man, what I wouldn't give for this truck to be real. Minus the wheels....

I love everything about my Tundra except for the dinky payload and limited towing capacity. I still am tempted by Chevy and GMC with their crew cab and 6.5' bed trucks. I still don't understand how Toyota can't make a beefed up version with a Hino diesel engine. I'm sure the emissions at this point will totally squash any hopes of this, but a boy can dream.

 

US emissions standards are such a crock of shit!

That's a clean looking truck! I really really looked hard at a Taco, but the new ones are just not for me. Yours is a proper truck though. Very nice.

Thank you for your kind words about my thread; The pictures go back at least four years! Sadly, due to the Coronavirus, I've resorted to grabbing pics of unique Tundras off the internet...

 

We all have to do our part to flatten the curve and stay safe. The internet isn't all bad, and there are some pretty Tundras out there.

 

My parents bought me that truck almost 11 years ago when I finally got my learner's permit, brand new with just 20 miles on the clock! As of right now, she's got over 114K miles; She uses about a quart of oil every 3,000-3,500 miles, but other than that she runs and drives like the day she left the dealer lot! The A/C blows ICE COLD, I added one hell of a stereo system, and I even added intermittent wipers and a backup camera! My only complaint about Emma is that she's got a bit of a drinking problem (18-19 MPG is the highest I've observed recently)...

 

That drinking problem is just preparing you for the hit you'll take when you get your Tundra. It's totally worth it to have a reliable vehicle that you love.

What’s it like living in a state with a lower population than Washington DC?

 

It's heaven 99% of the time. The Utah Navy (Boat owners from Utah) and Colorado Army (RVs and Quads) invade from time to time, but they always leave. Wyoming is actually the lowest population state in the Union, and I wouldn't have it any other way. There are more cows than people. When we hear gunshots in the middle of the night we know that it's somebody dealing with a skunk or coyote that has been after their chickens. Just some of the perks to living out of the major population centers. Don't get me wrong, the winters get brutal cold and it can snow any time of year (it snowed twice last month), and that is why most people leave the state. It beautiful, but not for the weak.

And no stinkin' safety inspections or emissions testing!

 

This is true. No state income tax either, but we get hammered on registration for vehicles and our gas prices don't get as low as higher population areas. Cost of living is low, so it all kind of balances out. I love this state. I've left it three time, but always came back. It is home.
