So I've got an email exchange with RRW going now. I'll let you all know what's up with the wheels. Their next shipment is in August and there might be some 5x150 RR6-H in bronze on that shipment. Still hashing out the ET or extended stud issue right now.

Confirm if they can design the RR7-F monoblock forged to customer requests?

That -15 has me a little concerned too, even with glass and LT. I wish the BR had a 0 offset. Their "roto forged" claim is very interesting, wonder if it's just marketing hype? The RR hybrid is a really cool concept though, bash the rings and just replace to have new looking wheels. There's another company making a hybrid, can't for the life of me remember who it is and I don't think they had anything note worthy for our trucks.
Looking forward to seeing what you select.

Thanks for the ETA, saved me from sending them another email. Hope the sale price stays in place.

Rotary forged is legit. Not hype. I'm not sure if it's fully rotary forged from the initial casting, or if the casting is rotary forged over a forged barrel though. Regardless, it's legit.

$240 for the base wheel. Rings and bolts are extra. You can run them beadlock, with protection ring or, as is.

I guess I'd be a concerned with the -15 as well. I'm not sure what your setup looks like, but I'd imagine that the glass is allowing the extra width from the LT. Now your adding MORE width. Glass with MT would clear all day, but that's no fun. ;);)

    Always... Custom glass?

The other company making hybrids right now is Dirty Life. I don't think they have anything for us though.

Custom glass/carbon fiber would be easy enough. Wish I hadn't sold my OEM fenders. I've been wanting to create my own design but need something to work off of.
Ahhh, Dirty Life. The only wheel they have for us looks kinda blah to me. And, at the cheap price I'm afraid the wheel would fold on the first whoop.

I've always wanted to make custom glass, but never really had a need. I had glass skills back in the day when I was building woofer enclosures, but I'm not sure they are still there.

Yeah, I looked at the Mesa for like 5 seconds with my eyes squinted like Ken Jeong reading that paper and kept scrolling.

Man, if I end up with these RRWs, I'm probably going to put OMF Rock Starz on them.

Just an FYI on the Vector 5s, they are an ET lug. I have a set and they look amazing to me for what that’s worth (like a 3 dollar bill)

Does anyone know what the lug pad thickness for Icon wheels is? The RRW lug pad is 10mm. @Vizsla do you know? Customer service dude has an inquiry out to their engineering department about the Quantum Tundra.

I'm running the Vector 5s. Not the color you're looking for but gives you an idea of what they look like on the truck. Havent seen anyone else running them in my area so that's a bonus. If you go with the Icons keep an eye out for sales on Autoanything. I picked up my set at 20% off so it was almost buy 3 get one which is a no brainer.

I like all the options you posted and the Black Rhino but they were a little out of my price range.

I havent pulled a wheel off since the install in March so I'm not sure what the installer used. Just told them to put on whatever they needed but after seeing the other post above me now I'm curious. I'll pull one and check

Those RRW wheels are sweet, they get my vote!!! Never heard of them until now. Prior the 701s were my favorite.

I like Icon wheels but I have seen a few instances where they have failed in wrecks or offroading...But in odd ways like the lugs pulling straight through the wheel...
https://www.tundras.com/threads/the-land-yacht-quicksand-trd-pro-build.16287/page-8#post-1589064 - third paragraph on the post of the wreckage..

Cool to find out that RRW has a DIY slider...as well as a decent price point.

They are a relatively new company. They've only been around for 4 years. They are developing more stuff. I know they had some starting pains in the beginning, but it's hard starting a business. I need to ask them about their slider. I'm wondering if they can do a full plate. My dogs use the step to get in the truck.

I saw that thread. I feel like in an accident, all the things are kinda out the window. I feel the concern there though. RRW is still a new company and there's not THAT many wheel sets out there right now. That Quantum Tundra does rip desert and that's comforting. I've seen people drive pretty hard on Icon wheels too though.

They are customizable to an extent. Since they aren't out yet, the customer service person isn't sure HOW customizable they are. He said they will initially release as an 18".

Looking more and more like I'm going to pull the trigger on these RRWs. Now, to wait for stock... I've got some life left on my current tires, so I'll be good to wait a bit.
