If anyone is interested I'm selling my tundra. I'm not to good at the whole forum thing so sorry if the link doesn't work. I realize most guys on here have tundras and aren't looking to buy another but ya never know.

    Link to my build. :notsure:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/jbos-crewmax-build.2814/

Selling truck for my pay off amount of $41,335.03. It's got 43k miles on it but it is my daily driver so that will continue to climb (50 miles a day for work). I am located in North Carolina roughly 30 miles from Hickory. I am willing to meet within 300 miles of my home for serious buyers.

All service done by Toyota dealership in Hickory, paper receipts on hand as well as signed/stamped in owners manual . Nothing wrong with the truck just got a wedding to pay for. :sadviolin:

    Thanks for looking. :pout:

What are you going to replace it with?

Tundras last a lifetime. Most marriages don't. Think big picture.:drevil:

Just an FYI, I originally joined this forum looking to buy a truck, and never saw anything...so you do never know. I stick around because it's a great forum, and some of these guys actually know a lot about these trucks.

Good luck with your sale, amazing truck - and even better luck with the wedding and the "ever after" aspect.

Should have mentioned in the original post that I wouldn't be parting out what's on the truck, apologies for that. I do however have the stock fog lights if anyone is interested in those, they are yours for 50 bucks plus whatever shipping cost.

As far as getting married goes I deserve to be just as miserable as all the other husbands out there :spy: :ballchain:

Kidding, I've got a damn good one. She even knows how to cook.....:violent:

Definitely trying to stick with Toyota. Had an 05 Tacoma Trd sport 6speed before the tundra one of my biggest regrets letting that go....not married yet :hattip:IMG_2571.jpg
That's the only picture I could find of my Tacoma put a lot time and money into it. I had a build page on Tacomaworld for it I'll try and dig that up while I'm at work tonight.

Had a 92 4Runner before the taco, bad boy had 300k miles and was still going strong. No pictures of it tho. That was before I knew about the forums.

Anyway, if the wallet can keep up it's a lifetime of toyotas for me.

My wife and I got married at the courthouse. It did not cost much at all. We had a nice little reception afterwards with about 40 people.

We actually planned a big wedding which would run us about 20k. She told me to let's just go on vacation and buy a house instead.

We went to Cancun for a week after we got married and we are going to Hawaii on our 1 year. We are also in the process of buying a house.

But on our 1 year, I plan on doing a nice small little wedding surprise for her in Hawaii.

Just don't go all out where you have to sacrifice the things you love. lol

Check out my buddy wedding, they got featured on one of top wedding blog in the industry.

I'm all for the courthouse then small reception deal. She however wants the ceramony and all that good stuff. That's not to say she wants to go all out, she just wants to have a special day. Roughly 12k bucks. Both of our families live 7 hours or more away from us. So we found a venue a bit closer to them.

Her and I are in our 20s so still young. I purchased my first home while we were dating. She moved in and so on. As far as sacrificing the things we "love" her and I both have come to realize mostly through trying to climb our way out of debt and simply growing up, it's not really about what you have rather who you spend your time with and what memories are made.

Yes my truck is my dream truck or at least the beginning of my dream truck but if selling my truck in order to give her the wedding she's always dreamed of is what I gotta do then I'm okay with it. There will be other trucks. I must say my 20 year old self is in shock over what I've just said. Funny how that works.

I should add when I purchased my tundra I was still living with my parents and had virtually no bills. Purchased tundra then decided to buy a house then quickly there after realized I had found the love my life so asked her to marry me. I suppose now I can sit back and respect how quickly life happens.

I'm not sure what "morimotos" mean.....like the post says they are the stock fog lights meaning the fog lights that came on the truck from the factory.

It's a proven fact that the more money spent on the wedding the longer the marriage will last and the happier the couple will be!

Another little known fact involves chrome. In the '60s and '70s chrome actually made cars and trucks faster. The chrome on modern vehicles no longer works. I'm not sure why, probably because it's made in China, dunno...

He is selling the OEM fog lights, not Morimoto. He upgraded his stocks to Rigid but he is not parting out the truck.

Almost 37 years here, and my parents recently past 65 years. My advice is to keep the truck and elope. The wedding will be over before you know it, and it'll be such a blur you won't remember most of what went on. You will, however, never forget the look in her eyes when you both say "I Do" and that look will be there even if it's just the two of you and a couple of witnesses.

Either way, congratulations and I hope you have a long and happy life together.
