My Tundra has developed a "roaring" noise underneath. It's been very hard to pinpoint. Upon investigating, I found the carrier bearing had gone bad. I changed it out, but it didn't stop it. This happens at ALL speeds. Kick it into neutral, still happens. The only time it isn't doing it is when it's stopped. I've checked the differential fluid, it's fine. No metal shavings on the magnet. I drained the transfer case and same thing there...no metal shavings and the gear lube was clean. I jacked it up and checked to see if there was any "play" in the wheels, NONE. I don't know where else to look. Any suggestions?

I see your signature says ‘has lift kit’. What type?

Might be your lift messed up the shaft angle going into the rear diff and has messed up a bearing back there. Jack up truck safely and listen. Be safe.

I bought the truck 3 years ago and the lift was already installed. Haven’t had any problems until now.
