Just notices that I dont have the removable caps for the stake pockets as I did on my 2015 double cab.

A quick search shows that some others on the forums do have them.

    What gives?

I also have a 2019 CM and was disappointed in the same thing - no stake pocket cutouts.

I’ve got a 2020 DC and no pocket cutouts. I never used them but I did notice they were missing

I believe they are taalking about the cutouts on the top rail of the bed. Where you can stick in a 2x3 or whatever size wood for a rack etc.

They have templates on where to cut but they aren't removable. They sell aftermarket hole inserts for them though, I've seen them on Amazon

This kit comes with covers and the attachment to cut them out evenly but I believe you can do it with a sharp box cutter too

Stake pockets are the square holes in the front and rear (some even have one in the middle) of the bed rails. You could put a piece of wood (stake) in there to help when piling up taller loads or for building a taller bedside and such. See the pic

'round here we call them rail holes. Outside of vampires I don't think I've used the term stake for a piece of wood.

I can see that. I mostly hear it as a stake pocket from my time CDL driving, thought it's 50/50 if it'll be called a stake pocket or a strap pocket there. :notsure:

    I responded to wrong post...

I cut the plastic out and installed a similar bull ring.

    What is the issue?

Anyone have plastic on top of the bed that looks like this, no cutouts? Just need to make sure I know where I'm cutting out to gain access to the stake pockets.

No issue but it seems newer models don't have the cutouts marked on the plastic rail (my 20 doesn't) also some including myself didn't know what stake pockets meant. I've never seen anyone use them like that except on old trucks just always seen rings there.
