When I had one of those I adjusted the rails just right and I kept the rubber lubed so it can slide easily when closing and opening the tailgate.

 

It’s currently in the shop. Sent it in yesterday so they can use the camera. Didn’t wanna start it up. They said I should get it back today. We’ll see.

Positives: 1. Ordered new Undercover ArmorFlex cover to replace my disappointing Peragon cover (Peragon has 100 day return policy).
2. Received the driver's side grab handle - going snapper fishing tomorrow so I don't know when I'll get to install it.
3. Ordered the CarLinkit Wireless CarPlay dongle.
4. Drooled over the CrewMax Long Box Under Seat Storage from esptruck.com.

Threw away my money into a different set of wheels that came in today! When Black Rhino released the GRANGE recently I fell in love with it more than the Arsenal's I've had. They are the same 18" and 12 offset but only 9" wide. I removed the fake bolts in some of the holes which cleans up the look to me, but they go back in if I ever change my mind I guess. The Arsenals will be going up for sale in a couple weeks or so.

 

Just finished installing new door speakers, 5 channel amp, and 12” sub. Really happy with the outcome. The door speakers sound great and the bass hits hard but isn’t over the top. I’ve only had the truck for a couple of weeks, but I couldn’t stand the stock sound so this was mod #1.

I started by looking at the JBL complete system from tech12volts, and its a great deal but more than I needed. I’m no audiophile, I just like to turn the radio up when I’m cruising. So I set about trying to build a similar complete system with cheaper components.

For $500 all in I got:

The LOC made everything really easy to just replace the stock amp under the passenger seat with the new 5 channel amp. Took me the better part of an afternoon to do by myself, but it was pretty straight forward largely in part to all the great info on this forum.

Next up will be the Phoenix audio tablet head unit and replacing dash tweeters.

Installed fog lights for my SR (with the new stalk and relay)

 

Took awhile to get. Threw them on this evening.

 

Installed the FRAC switches in the front of the console.

 

You should be able to add auto headlights to it too. I was able to on my SR5 for less than $10. Here's one similar to what I bought.
