Question. Apparently some of my friends are putting together a trip for next year. I believe my friend said it was called the Colorado trail. It starts somewhere near Durango and ends up somewhere near Denver. Has anyone here done this trail? If so, how would a Tundra do on this trip?
    Thanks in advance.

Speaking of Colorado trails. I originally planned a trip to Arizona for the Tundra to Sedona trip. Well now the misses wants to go to Colorado that time of the year. Anyone have some suggestions for trails and camping sites we should look into?

I should have asked, but do you want to off-road your truck? Any other toys coming with you?

Have fun! One of my favorite areas in CO. lofs of scenic places, and no problems with taking the Tundra everywhere.

There is a metric buttload of trails in that area. New Mexico has some good times to be had as well.

Hotel or camper? Either way, book your stuff early. July 4th is bad ass in Ouray. Bring some lawn chairs on Main Street, get some ice cream, and the fireworks go off right over your head. Looks like a 3D movie.

That should be a great trip!!

Buy that book. Charles Wells was a club member of Colorado Four Wheelers, a Jeep club I was in a while back. He does a wonderful job on his books.

No. Just the front range, so east of the continental divide give or take.

He has several editions. I haven't used his books in a while due to where I like to Jeep, but they are excellent and not deceaving.

Well you will have a blast among the way. Ample amounts of off-roading and Mountakn biking to be had.

There are regional versions that cover certain areas of CO. Each version is very comprehensive.
