New tie rods make clunking noise

I just replaced the factory inner & outer tie rods with Proforged brand. After the replacement, they make a stiffer ride, and there's a clunking noise when I go over bumps and dips. Does anyone have similar issue after replacing the tie rods?

 

How did you narrow it down to the tie rods? Please check and make sure your sway bar end links are good and tight too. I’ve made the mistake of thinking they were tight while up in the air and they really should be snugged down once the truck is back on the ground. I hate noises on my truck too, believe me I’ve had to hunt down noises before. I once had a loose alignment cam that made a horrible clunk (metal on metal) noise.

 

^^^^^^^ This.... I rode for the better part of 5 years trying to figure this same thing out on my Celica... I finally gave in and bought new sway bar end links since they were cheaper I discovered while removing the old ones that the shop who last installed my struts, failed to tightened the end link on the driver side... Made me think I needed ball joints and end links for the longest time... I saved enough to buy everything, but decided to purchase 1 at a time and that is when I discovered that the endlinks were the culprits... Its been a year and its been quiet and smooth.....
