Don't pull an @Pucks18 and leave the washer out. Messed up everything:rofl:

And mark your entire drive line before taking it apart so it can go back together the same way.

Plastidip is great stuff. If you're intending on a long term hold, a can of that clear coat glossifier is definitely worth it. It keeps the rubber soft, which holds up better to rocks and bugs while also preserving the deeper black of the plastic rather than allowing it to fade to an eventual grey that begins peeling or even cracking.

I had the same issue with mine. It's amazing how fast the rotors warp on my 05. I eventually slapped some big gurrl drilled and slotted rotors on and they haven't warped since. I absolutely recommend them if your Napa ones warp as fast as mine did!

These brakes are temporary. My lack of 17” wheels is what’s making me hold off from the 14wa big boi calipers

Thanks but I feel like there is too much black on the grill now. I thought about using the hot knife trick to peel of the middle piece, which is chrome, to see how that looks. Aftermarket, nearly OEM, replacements are only about $70 on ebay. I may just go that route. I kinda like the completely stock look.

Does anyone know which markings indicate which sides for the front springs? Haha someone want to go out and look at your truck? They are slightly different ratings and I didn't keep track of the new OEM ones' sides.

One spring has white and purple markings, the other has white and red.

I'm about to adjust my Bilsteins and install these correct springs today.

3 02's done. That drivers side 1 closet to the manifold is being a bitch.
Gotta work on the wiring for the headlights and light bar. I'm going to stop there, there is more to do but...
This is not going to done today.

On my 06AC, I have green and purple dots on the driver's side. I couldn't see any dots on passenger's side. But I didn't crawl under there very far.

On my 2002 4x2 AC the drivers side is yellow/white and the passenger side is blue/white. This is the way it was stock and the way I put it back when I installed my 5100's.

The rear gear was $151 shipped. The front (on back-order) is $130ish. The gears aren't expensive but the rebuild kits are another $4-500 and then I have a front locker coming as well.

For installation, absolutely not! I read some how-to's and from what I gather, it has to be exact or you can really damage stuff and my patience allows for about 85% perfection.

My 2002 SR5 ‘Off Road’ Package 4x4 has yellow/blue and yellow/green markings. Sorry bud or I’d send a pic. These springs on our trucks are quite varied.

That's why I strayed back to the factory grille on mine. It looked really weird at first, but it really grew on me. The mesh grille was a lot going on.

Hey thanks to you and the others anyway. I figured out that measuring the springs revealed one was a quarter inch taller, and I assumed that was the driver's side to compensate for the fuel tank, battery, and driver being on that side. Got everything installed and all buttoned up. She will ride great after an alignment tomorrow, although it will be awkward when the shop that quoted me $700 sees I just did the work myself!

Anyone with diff drops notice any difference or recommend them?
I figure the concept of getting some of the angle out of the CV axles from the lift makes sense, so just ordered mine from Supreme Suspensions on sale, then I can close out front end stuff and finally get my skid plate out of the yard ;)

Can you compare the sound to a traditional subwoofer? I have a basic JL in a subzero box and absolutely love the sound, but my kids hate it being in the way.

I agree with you. Your truck looks a lot better with the factory grill. I don't like that mesh grill at all.

I like the Darrell waltrip mesh grill but that ones mesh sticks out to far for my taste. Maybe if the mesh was recessed more.

I just put in a Kenwood powered 8 inch that is very similar in look and fits under the passenger seat, completely hidden. The sound is pretty impressive for such a small enclosure. It would not impress a teenager likely but it really brings in the lower octaves and even thumps just a bit. I highly recommend as it was $250 versus my original idea of external amp plus box that would take up the rear passenger compartment plus sub ~$1100.

It's a step above a good early 2000's premium factory system, but has nothing on anything from JL. It's a decent sub $200 powered subwoofer (see what I did there? :)) that will add some thump to any stock-ish 4 speaker stereo. It's adjustment range is nice to be able to match the sound to your taste, but if you're running amplified door speakers I think this will come up short.
