yup! Well, the brake lines need to bend a little but it's nothing crazy and that was my first time working with hard brake lines so if I didn't mess it up, I'm sure you'll be fine!

I love the thought of this as I hate using the column shifter but wouldn't ever do it!

So I dig the hand shifter. And the ford escape I rented had that stupid little dial. I don't like where new cars are headed.

    The scrapyard most likely.

    Reject "electronic" gearshifts
Return to the mechanical gearshift lever wit cable.

Had to take my boy-o to the vet today. Figured I would do that because it was supposed to rain all day according to the weather man. While I was out I browsed around to kill some time. Found a can of spray grease at the local autozone. Will try that inside the frame.

Check the 14WA Caliper thread. I posted in there about a minor issue I had.. Toyota has revised the caliper for 16+ 4Runners and I'm not sure about the GX.. I ordered the correct part numbers from Toyota and they sent me 14WB calipers not 14WA.. Don't even want to try and have them milled just to find out they won't work.. They moved from 12mm mounting bolts to 14mm.. Might still work if I buy new bolts but I'm not willing to try it out.

Can you elaborate or link me in the right direction for this mod? I want that so bad. I've got cheap-o ebay projectors which I can't get aligned perfectly.. Are you using OEM headlight housings or the ebay blacked out ones?

    ^ correct, the 14wa i believe were 2010 to 2015 4runner or gx460.

How much is High Dolla Caliper Man selling his large red units? I’d just buy those and be done with it versus buying old used and seized up units needing pain in the butt rebuild and then go searching for someone to beg to machine just right. One slip. Oops! Sorry bud. My first time doing these. :D

I think our year had the WE13 only unless you told the Stealer your brakes were weak and ‘concerning’ and then forced them to do the TSB which they kept quite. Otherwise, they would still be WE on yours.

I will take a look in a few minutes. It's been raining all day here off/on. Each time the rain would quit long enough for me to go out, and start getting set up and then it would start raining again. After the 2nd time of this I forfeited the day. Lol

Both of mine actually do say 13WE. My gut instinct the other day was they were autozone specials.

I guess I didn't spray enough mineral spirits on the rusty areas to stop the ospho reaction.
    White crusties
    20200623_195312.jpg
The spindle was not rusty so I hand washed it a few days ago, let dry, and rubbed a film of grease on it. Thats why it looks "wet"

I haven't finished up with the headlights just yet, been working on other things. I have eBay headlights and I can't take credit for the projectors, TX-TRD1stGEN posted them, it's about 20 pages back. All the info you need is right there and he would know more than I.
I did paint the inside of the housing a black steel (looks grey to me) which works for me because my truck is phantom grey pearl (the best color).

Either way, you gotta poke your head in this thread frequently there's loads of good stuff in between the chatter. Oh and while I was searching for the post, I just kept stopping to admire all the delicious food pics, I'm having a ruff day and man all that food brings a smile to face. I need a steak right now

If I had the space and money there are a few cars I want. Some I already had and want back and some that keep calling me.
Honda S2000 I miss that car, more fun than 2 midget mud wrestlers
2003 Infiniti M45 I had to give her up for the Tundra, it still hurts.
1970 Chevelle, my 1st love. She was full of bullet holes and Bondo but an aluminum 396 built transmission and 12 bolt posi made life interesting

I wonder how just a grease rub over top of the ospho would do. Eliminating the mineral spirits step
